Hi all, An update, I went and saw the sleep specialist and what I have seems not very common. Its possible because I use to use earplugs with my CPAP (as I hate noise at night) its possible its caused pressure in my inner ear as the air couldn't escape which caused an issue for me whenever I go on C...

CPAP causing inner ear issues - help needed
Hi all, I haven't been here for quite awhile. When I use my CPAP machine I get ringing in my right ear (tinnitus) and slight vertigo (balance issues) and sometimes get slight nausea. When I go off the CPAP for a couple days the tinnitus nearly all disappears including the other symptoms. I went to a...

Re: Newbie - Trying to confirm options before buying APAP
Hi, It probably different for different people but found the Dreamstation APAP gentler for breathing than the airsense 10 and the airsense 10 for her model. I found the dreamstation more smoother and natural to breath on. I found the airsense 10 a bit harsher at higher pressures. For some reason I t...

Re: Newbie issues w Dreamstation Autopap
Hey thanks a lot, you guys (btw I am a woman). Definitely it would be the case that I am starting out at the lowest possible pressure of 4, and so of course the pressure cannot drop any further! Yes it is at the outset, when I am first trying to go to sleep. On one hand, I wonder about starting out...

Re: QTube In-Line Muffler Kit for CPAP
The best way to deal with an old, noisy machine is to buy a new machine. The second best way to deal with a noisy machine is to use a thick cloth hose cover, and place the machine below the level of the top of the mattress. Thanks for the advice, I will try a thick hose cover - do you recommend a p...

Re: QTube In-Line Muffler Kit for CPAP
Hi all, Just wondering if any one tried it the Qtube In -Line muffler, does it work? I am thinking of trying it on a old Philips 50 series Fixed CPAP machine. Cheers Steve I use a Philips 560 on my boat, and sometimes travelling, without humidity or heated hose. Although with the humidifier its "si...

Thanks , have you tried it on the 60 series machine.bill-e wrote:I've been using the Q-Tube for over a year and it works great with my HDM Z1A which is kinda loud without it. If you have noise being generated by the hose this will help.

Re: They Tell Me I Need This Machine
Well, if it ain't one thing it's another. Now you have ear issues. I was going to suggest turning down the pressure on your machine from 10 to 7 or 8 for a few nights to adjust. I got used to increased pressure over time. But, It seems like you might have a unique ear issue. I would go to an ear sp...

That version should work. What happens when you attempt to download from the SD card? Get any messages about Pro not being able to find the card? Why do you want to use Pro? Any special reason? It's a bitch until you learn its quirks. After that just a slow crabby ass. It doesn't show the level of ...
