Re: Pressure pulse in AirSense 11?
I wish I could. It doesn’t show on the report, it just happens— two puffs of air stronger than the current pressure. I thought it was me at first, but now that it’s happened a few times, I’m sure it’s the machine and not my imagination or a dream. I am going to assume there is something wrong with t...

Pressure pulse in AirSense 11?
I apologize if this has been asked and answered. Working off my phone, my searches aren’t very successful. I recently switched from the 10 to the 11 and noticed that the 11 has pressure pulses, which drive me insane—especially because I am usually just falling asleep when they occur. I’ve looked thr...

Re: AirSense 11 regular mode or for her mode
Are you using OSCAR to view your nightly therapy results? If so, posting the screenshots on here will help those in the know, to help you out. If not, you can find the download link in the stickies at the top of the home page. Unfortunately, I don't have the last few months of data from the 10 beca...

AirSense 11 regular mode or for her mode
Hi All - It's been quite a while since I've been on here. Glad to see some familiar names. I did try to search to see if anyone already asked this question but didn't see anything that quite answered my question. I recently went from my AirSense 10 to 11. I thought I would tryout the "For Her" mode....

SoClean2 Lesson Learned Hard Way - WARNING for Others
DO NOT BUY SOCLEAN2!!! Yes I'm a doofus who bought a SoClean2 even after reading the warnings on this forum. Why? Because my doctor is pushing them. For 3 years, I never used anything except baby wipes to clean my mask and never cleaned my hose. I just replaced them once a year. No problems. Last we...

Re: Morning Depression
Hi Pugsy - No meds with the exception of the once in a very blue moon Ambien. But the Ambien doesn't effect the am depression. I've never been a morning person either, so maybe this is just "normal" for me. I have dogs, I let them out and then run back to bed. It takes me about an hour to two hours ...

Hi All - It's been a long time since I've posted anything. 1 year of cpap therapy and I am feeling awesome!!!! AHI is consistently <5 and most often even <1. What a miracle coming from an AHI of 47. I have weaned myself off the Ambien 99%. I still take it on very rare occasions when I just can't fal...

Re: I have reason to believe I have Sleepapnea.
I live in Florida too. My doctor was taking too get me my actual prescription. I walked into a local DME and bought my machine without a script. However, you will need the prescription if you are looking for the insurance company to pay/reimburse costs. My insurance does not cover DME, so no script ...

Re: Another New Guy Needs Help
I'd give it a good couple of days and more data before I'd get too concerned. Different things affect our sleep each night. For me eating too close to bedtime messes my sleep up. Alcohol is another factor. I do love my Cabernet, but too much or too close to bedtime... Unfortunately, I'm too new to l...

Re: Help - Trying CPAP for over 8 weeks now
Are you a mouth breather? For the air, I found that using a nasal mask was better and the nasal pillows were even better yet when it came to swallowing air. So if you're not a mouth breather, maybe switching to a nasal mask or pillows will help. I'm pretty new at this too and am just now learning to...

Re: New User
The day(s) after having used the machine all night, I would wake up sleepy and have to go back to bed within a couple of hours of getting up. I didn't have that problem before starting to use the CPAP, and don't have it when I don't use the machine now. Is this common? I've been on cpap for about 3...
