Re: Just bought a AirCurve 10 VAUTO - Coming from AirSense 10 - What settings
Ti Max, Ti Min, trigger, and cycle. Leave these above settings at the factory default to start with. They work well for the majority of people. You will want to erase all prior user data anyway and there should be an option to reset settings to factory defaults. They may or may not have been change...

Just bought a AirCurve 10 VAUTO - Coming from AirSense 10 - What settings
Hello all, I just picked up a AirCurve 10 VAUTO for 120 USD. I've wanted a backup since I've had my AirSense10 for many years. And I couldn't pass up the price. The AirCurve has CPAP, S, and VAUTO. And Max IPAP, min EPAP, PS, Ti Max, Ti Min, trigger, and cycle. Of course Im new to the settings of th...

Check My Results? - SleepyHead
Hi All, Looking to see if those experts out there would find the time to look at my sleep data. January 13th I woke up gasping for breath, coughing up spit, and generally felt not so great since. Days later I go to the Dr and she says I have high BP and lets just say it quickly got worse. I generall...

Re: CPAP clogged ear after Flu.
Julie, I never said I am not going to one. It is not easy for every to just go to an ENT. Only one is closer than 1 hour and 15 from me... he is booked for 5 months... I also work... a lot. So, that said, I cannot be the only one who got clogged ears with the Flu/CPAP use. I am curious what their di...

Re: Being My Own Doctor - Defining my own pressure and more
My Dr was only useful enough to tell me how bad I was and answer the questions I had to fish for (questions I wouldnt hae known to even ask if it were not for me researching online). Thanks to those on this forum, some even in this thread, and SleepyHead reports I am now sleeping like never before. ...

Re: CPAP clogged ear after Flu.
So going to ENT is what you all did after getting clogged from Flu/CPAP?
What did they do?
Note that I was already on antibiotics, steroids, and flutoconase.
When you say fluid, is said fluid mucus.
My skull was a mess so I feel like the CPAP literally pushed mucus into my inner ear.

Re: Cold house and CPAP
I LIVE in Florida and still had to have a heated hose for rainout.
I say just spend the $20 on Amazon and never worry about it again.
Without it, or until you get one, sleep with the hose under the blankets (use your body heat) and keep the machine lower than your head.

Re: Ok, Enough's Enough.. Surgery Advice please :(
I was also desperate at one point. To the point I thought the whole CPAP thing was total BS and gave up. Over a year period after being diagnosed, I used my machine off and on with little success. That is until finally I got the right combo for me. I ended up with a nasal pillow , and like you, I wa...

Re: Rethinking wheather to get a CPAP
You deff have to get the right combo; settings and hardware. I had my machine for over a year, until one day I got it just right, and have used it ever since. I honestly got to the point where I thought this whole thing was BS and gave up. I even have a machine that most recommend here; Resmed Airse...

CPAP clogged ear after Flu.
So just went through the worst flu I've ever had my life, seriously, felt like absolute hell. I wasn't able to use my CPAP the entire time... which I'm sure compounded on how terrible I felt. Anyway, once the worst was over, I tried again. I was able to handle it finally. Unfortunately, as soon as t...
