Re: Questioning Home Sleep Study/Scheduled Overnight
You will have some special instructions for the titration study. Mine were things like eat a light supper before reporting for the sleep study, either wear or bring comfortable clothes to sleep in, and don't take evening meds-bring them with you. Specifically ask the doctor ahead of time if you shou...

Re: extremely tired all the time. need advice.
I'm sure your wife wants you to feel better and have more energy too. You don't have to wear it until you are ready to go to sleep. Don't put it on until the TV is off and you've said goodnight to your wife . Once the lights are off who cares what you wear on your nose? Do you have a full face mask ...

Dorlow,
Drag that sucker back out of the closet and tell us what you have. Someone here can tell you how to adjust your settings so you can get some use out of it. You might as well try to use it and bring a report to the new doctor.

Re: Airmony CPAP
As an APAP user who cannot stand anything on the bridge of my nose this is just the opposite of what I need. I don't see how someone can stand having that big piece in their vision either. I'll stick with my Amara View.

Re: I hate my machine
I started with the Quattro FX full face mask since I'm a mouth breather. I couldn't stand it. I could not wear my reading glasses when needed .... like when I tried to see the APAP manual to change settings. I switched to the Amara View and really like it. It's still a full face mask. It covers the ...

Re: I hate my machine
It sounds like you hate your mask and your machine settings. At least you don't hate your husband for complaining. Get some help adjusting your machine settings and possibly a different mask and you'll hate it less.

Re: Airsense 10 or Philips Dreamstation
I assumed he is because his name appears on the left side instead of "guest".... Well Steve, go register a user name on the top right. It's very easy to do. By the way, I don't think you are helping yourself by changing machines constantly. Whichever machine you use, you will have to spend some time...

Re: Airsense 10 or Philips Dreamstation
Steve, You look like you're signed in to me but just for good measure click the logout button on the top right then sign in again. Once you do that, go to the user control panel and enter information about the machine you are currently using. It would be best to only post in one place so all replies...

Re: Knee Pillow
I've been looking at memory foam toppers for my bed. I'm stuck though because I don't know which one to get. They go from 1/2' to 4" from what I see. Is memory foam the best way to go?
Thanks,
Dani
Thanks,

Re: Pressure so high that it wakes me up: what should I do?
I also have a Phillips DreamStation. I just started using APAP on June 17th. A few suggestions: 1. Go to the user control panel on this site and select the type of machine and mask you are using so people will have that information. 2. Set the FLEX setting on your machine to give you pressure relief...

Re: how many masks have you tried
Thanks Okie bipap. I'll probably get another Amara View and hoses when I'm eligible then the next time I can try something else. That way I have a spare of my main mask.
