I have a Resmed F10 mask. The other night, the cushion tore rendering it useless. I did some searching on ebay for a new cushion and this listing came up. Should I worry about the 21 central apneas that occured during my sleep study? My AHI has been under 2 most of the time over the last couple of weeks. Sometimes it is a little bit higher, sometimes it is much higher, up to 30 or more.

I had a sleep study done about a year and a half ago. I had 77 obstructive apneas and 21 central apneas that night. I now use a CPAP machine and while it helps, it hasn't been the game changer that I hoped it would be. If I generate a report using Dreammapper or Sleepyhead will it show central apnea...

The bad nights are seemingly random. I am on several medications, including Ambien.

My suggestion...if you haven't tried the Respironics Amara View full face mask give it a try. It totally eliminates the over the nose area that is prone to leaking and blowing in your eyes. I have a Resmed Airfit F10 and I also have a Philips Amara full face mask. They both leak up around the top, and make my eyes water. Are they just adjusted incorrectly or do I need to buy a smaller mask that isn't a full face mask? If so, what is a good model to use?
