Re: My BiPap is maxed out on pressure and AHI over 5... What's next?

You need to both see and provide data. Otherwise we can only reasonably guess that your minimum EPAP is too low. What the machine itself reports on screen is largely useless.

Re: Newbie: Constant Leak Rate

I recently replaced the output filter and it cut down on noise and also I don't get a weird rash on my right cheek anymore...I suspect somehow the chamber wasn't connecting correctly. Did this change the leak rate shown on your software reports? How is this relevant to original topic which wasn't a...

What is "output filter"?
Well, output port.

Re: AirCurve 11 release imminent?

The CEO was discussing supply chain issues and a shortage of chips a few months ago on CNBC. And not just a shortage of chips, but the ones that do exist are going to other places than largely home healthcare devices.

Re: Oxygen Concentrator - high pitched whining coming from nasal cannula

Quick google search for high pitched whining coming from nasal cannula with inogen one The nasal cannula connects to this nozzle for Inogen One® G3 ... Increasing the cannula length may reduce the perceived noise during oxygen bolus delivery. There were other results you'll find if you google it. I...

Oxygen Concentrator - high pitched whining coming from nasal cannula

I realize this is a CPAP forum, but I'm sure there are some oxygen users here that go beyond bleeding O2 into their device while sleeping. I have an Inogen at home concentrator (1 - 5 LPM) and when the nasal cannula is connected I can detect a high pitched whining sound coming from the nasal prongs,...

Yes, I have a spare device and all the accessories. I also keep a box full of filters, hoses, nasal cannulas, oxygen supply tubing. You never know.

Re: ASV breathing issues..

Have they tried taking everything apart, cleaning it, and securing everything back together? Or I believe there is the old trick of forcing the ASV to restart its algorithm by blowing back against the pressure for a couple seconds (note: I don't use an ASV, just relaying something I previously read ...

Re: CPAP with Oxygen

At home I would recommend the Philips Respironics Everflo (or the Everflo Q version, if you can find it) with OPI if you don't travel much. You can get tubing that connects from the concentrator to your bi-level via the climate oxy hose. I use 25ft tubing and have the concentrator in my office with ...

I don't trust these gadgets. My Sleep Number bed tells me that I slept terrifically when I've knowing been sick and tossing and turning all night.

Re: Luna g3 Bpap issue maintaining IPAP pressure

Yeah I've had that problem. Probably has to do with with I sens and E sens settings. And/or the rise time setting. Unfortunately the manual is not really helpful at all. I never got used to the machine unfortunately, even with the inhale sensitivity at the highest setting sometimes I would go to inh...

Re: Tidal Volume equivalent on a ResMed AirCurve ASV(?)

Well without a patent airway, adequate ventilation can be difficult to achieve. Focus on the airway first (reducing OSA as much as possible). But the ASV can't guarantee any certain volume. More pressure support can help, but still there is no guarantee of any certain volume. But for most healthy pe...

Re: F&P "Simplus" Hose Detachment?

Never had this problem and I've been using the Simplus on and off since like 2015. Maybe the way your device/tubing is set up is causing it to pull at the mask?
