Humidifier tray cleaning

I use filtered water in the tray. However, every morning when I check the tray, it seems like there is a deposit of something at the bottom. How do you guys clean the tray and do you get the deposit at the bottom of the tray. Thx!

Is a set pressure more effective or a range?

I have been narrowing my pressure settings and tweaking it for optimal performance. My current range is 11 to 14.5. My question is should I settle for the medium number or continue with a range (min/max)? From my previous nights (not last night), my avg. pressure is around 12. Just wondering if I sh...

Can graph show REM sleep?

Based on the graph, is there a way to tell the difference between REM sleep and other stages? I think I read another post where it said during REM sleep , the pressure tends to rise. Is that true? Do spikes in pressure indicate REM sleep and how long you are in REM sleep. Thx! http://i.imgur.com/9VX...

Re: Tweak with pressure settings?

Perhaps bump my min. to 11 and see if that does anything? Can increasing min. affect how high the max pressure goes throughout the night? yes, interestingly though, raising min to where it needs to be sometimes causes the max reached to be lower, since the machine prevents more things happening in ...

Re: Tweak with pressure settings?

Are you concerned about the number or how you are sleeping and feeling? If you are sleeping well, you could increase the min pressure...it might make a difference. Your pressure is also hitting max 17 for a short period...you might increase that to 18. Personally, I would be inclined to leave it al...

Tweak with pressure settings?

Not to be overly picky, I have managed to get my AHI to about 1.7 on a regular basis. My avg. pressure is little over 12 and my min. is 10. I want to get my AHI to below 1, should I increase the pressure to an 11? Could it make a difference?

Thanks!!

Re: Major leak but low AHI?

Thanks for the responses guys/gals. I am pretty sure my slight increase in AHI is due to me sleeping on my back. I do have some back problems and sleeping on my side all night is quite difficult. But I will try harder to maintain that position. Sometimes I sleep on my back without even realizing it.

Major leak but low AHI?

So I switched from a medium nose piece to a large one hoping it would be more comfortable (which it was), but checked the data and saw I had a major leak. My question is....how is it possible to have episodes of major leaks and have a low AHI? I attached my readings below. Thx. http://i.imgur.com/6C...

Re: First night on cpap!

Just got done with my DME. At first on the phone they told me the machine I was buying was the dream station cpap. I asked if it was a auto and they said no. Had me worried for 2 weeks that I was going to get a crap machine! Well the DME showed up with the dream station auto! So happy! She told me ...

Re: Triple whammy may be the cause of my problems

So turns out, not only do I have sleep apnea (symptoms: depression, fatigue, mental fog), but I also have severe B12 deficiency (symptoms: depression, fatigue, mental fog) and severe Vit. D deficiency (symptoms: depression, fatigue, mental fog). I truly believe my problems are a combo of all three....
