I wondered the same thing. My first inquiry was to DME who who said it was a Resmed filter. The edges don't seam very stiff. Maybe I should try and order new filters and see what's out there.chunkyfrog wrote: I wonder if you are using an OEM filter or a knockoff.

Yeah I keep mine on the nightstand too. Really haven't had problems before this new machine. It's too new to me to tell if it's something weird that's happened, or if it's something to look out for in the future.
