Re: Do I need to transfer Dreamstation 2?
Do I need to transfer ownership of my Dreamstation 2 that I received as replacement for my recalled machine? If so, how would I do that? Philips claimed that they never received my Rx, so they sent the replacement Auto CPAP set to auto settings. I have someone interested in buying it but their slee...

Re: Dreamstation 2 Performance - Good, Bad, No Different?
System one user 6 years ago who switched to Resmed Autoset 10 about 3 years ago. AHI slightly better some nights with Resmed and I believe that is due to their auto algorithm being somewhat better than Philips. Autoset 10 quieter and nicer machine to use overall. Received Dreamstation 2 as a recall ...

Re: Dreamstation 2 not registering usage
Did you set your Min & Max pressures to what you were currently using on the New Dreamstation 2 ? Several have reported the DS2 they received did not have their prescription set and were instead just default values. I have been using the DS2 I received and My AHI is basically the same with my normal...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I have a System One 60 and they said it cannot be replaced or refurbished so offered me $50 for it. Philips was not going to repair and refurbish older systems one devices as they are over 5 years old and past their normal lifespan. The option to accept $50 for the system one 560 or $25 for the 550...

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers
Yes to the portal check--still saying DME will provide machine when they get it. Haven't tried the phone number yet. I have not heard of anyone in the USA receiving a replacement DS_GO yet. One of the Apnea boards had a post from someone in Australia who received a full refund for the Go after they...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
Second DS2 arrived today and this one includes a heated hose. Looking at the boxes they each have different REF number and description with the most recent showing a heated tube included.

Re: Phillips Respironics DS1 Test Results are in
I have no animosity against Philips they replaced my old system ones with New DS2 and although the process was clunky I feel they had good intentions and tried to make things right. some companies have been known to deny problems and issues or cover them up and mitigate quietly in the background. Le...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I never used a DS1 but it looks like it was a much better built machine than the DS2 replacement I received for my system one. The DS2 has a cheap feel to it and the touch screen interface is very clunky to use. The package included a standard hose but i was happy to see my System one heated hose fi...

Re: Dreamstation ultra-fine filters greasy?
I had a issue a few years ago when using a room cool mist humidifier with Tap water. It would cause fine white mineral dust deposits on surfaces and would also show up around my Cpap filter intake path.
