At the beginning could not get out of bed for months, cpap and surgery changed my life but still trying to figure out what is wrong with me. Altho...

I did that but nothing helpful came up. Most of stuff was for dental appliances that they are trying to sell.

Uars friendly doctor or sleep lab near baltimore md?
I live near baltimore MD. I am looking for a doctor or sleep lab that can test or work with UARS. I can find nothing specific in the area online and I am just another patient to get out the door with my current sleep doctor.
Thanks
Thanks

Does anyone else have a BAD gag reflex
Since the onset of what i believe was my sleep apnea, I have always had a horrible gag reflex in the morning. It was so bad sometimes I would gag and cough and almost throw up for not reason. Brushing my teeth was difficult, I nearly threw up everyday? Since treatment its gotten a lot better, still ...

Has anyone regained there sense of humor?
I'very been struggling with getting my cpa to work optimally and need some encouragement.
Has anyone noticed there sense of humor return? It's been so long since I've even been able to think straight, I feel like I'm never going to get my personality back

Re: Still have bad headaches and crash in afternoon.
Thank you Wulfman, I got the download.
I guess I am renting the machine until the insurance sees I am compliant so that I can get the to pay for it. It has been ridiculous trying to get approved for everything with my insurance and having to figure out what to do.

RE:
I am actually renting a machine from a company. Quality DME.
It has a modem so I assume it uploads data to the company. Do you think there would be any issues with them if I changed it my self?

Re: Still have bad headaches and crash in afternoon.
Do I need to wait to go back to doc to do this or can I do it myself? The company I rented this from and my sleep doc never really gave me any instructions or told me what to do. I just assumed I would make an appt with my sleep doc after a couple weeks.

Re: Could really use help selecting a machine, possible UARS.
Thanks to everyone, this has helped me so much. I have one more question if any one could give some more advice.
I am buying this used and planning on experimenting my self to find the right pressure. Do you think I could do that with just a VPAP or would it be better to get an AUTO VPAP?

Re: Could really use help selecting a machine, possible UARS.
Thank you very much pugsy! That helped alot. I think i am going with the ResMed S9 VPAP™ Auto with H5i™ Humidifier-Certified Pre-Owned. I have not had a titration, they want to just do it with an auto-cpap. I have read UARS requires higher pressure so I want to get a Bipap now then find out later th...
