Re: Apex software

I obtained the Apex software (Easy compliance 3) simply by contacting the company (http://www.apexmedicalcorp.com/contact.php?lang=en-global) However don't bother with the customer support line - they never reply. I used one of the other (non-Taiwan) email addresses for my region. They agreed to se...

Re: Newbie Looking for 1st CPAP Machine (Apex or Philips)

Guys, just to give you an update. I called the supplier and the Philips quoted by the dealer is the 460 model. 260 is out of stock while the 560 aint available in our jurisdiction.

I asked for the dreamstation auto model and i was quoted 2555usd converted from PhP.

FYI.

Re: Mask Question

I'm a newbie CPAP user having used several machines for trials before purchasing my own unit. When measured using Philips measuring kit, I'm a large, but like you, feels more comfy with the next bigger size. Thus, in those trial periods, I ended up using the extra large one. In most of those nights,...

Re: Newbie Looking for 1st CPAP Machine (Apex or Philips)

I think they are talking about the PR System One Pro with CFlex which is indeed the model 460. The "Pro" term is the give away. The term Remstar tells us nothing because Respironics has pretty much used that marketing term on all models since time began up to the new DreamStation models. While the ...

Re: Newbie Looking for 1st CPAP Machine (Apex or Philips)

I asked the dealer about the PR60 and here's the reply I got: Remstar Pro cflex+ not sure with the catalogue no. I reckon since it has the "+" it's the 460. I hope this helps you guys in knowing and determining more about the Philips being sold to me and how it compares with the Apex model feature w...

Re: Newbie Looking for 1st CPAP Machine (Apex or Philips)

Just to give everyone an idea what the Apex is and what it can do, here's a link: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/ich-auto-cpap-heated-humidifier-apex.html Yup. Investigated importing a machine from the CONUS already. Customs duties and taxes are exorbitant which makes it impractical. Another way o...

Re: Newbie Looking for 1st CPAP Machine (Apex or Philips)

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I'm located in the Philippines hence the astronomical cpap prices. I also checked out the dreamstation. I thought it would be smaller than the PR60 but it's not. Perhaps, at best, by 5 to 7 percent. A little lighter thkugh. The model I checked out is also not Auto....

Newbie Looking for 1st CPAP Machine (Apex or Philips)

Hi everyone. To make the long story short, I have sleep apnea. I was diagnosed with moderate OSAS in 2010 but only decided to get a CPAP now in 2016 mainly because of my wife having trouble sleeping beside me and, of course, the effects getting serious. Tests done in 2016 says I now have severe OSAS...
