Re: Newbie issues

Most would recommend turning ramp off plus increasing your minimum pressure. But, as posted above, it is necessary that everyone sees the data that your machine is churning out.

Re: PR System One - disable/turn off bluetooth possible?

Hi, I am researching for a spare CPAP (still waiting for my prescription), and I am interested to get the same one that I have now (System One 560P - no Bluetooth). Unfortunately they don't carry it anymore. The new version has built-in Bluetooth (seems to be true for all 60 series line). I checked...

Re: NEW CPAP user

In addition to those mentioned by Julie, you would have to use software to get data from your machine, assuming it is data capable.

Once you've done that, post screen grabs here and the veterans would be able to help you analyze them.

Re: Travel Cpap

I am sick and tired of lugging around my huge Cpap when I travel. I want to buy one of the small ones that will fit in my small suitcase. If any of you have advice re: what type to buy, please share. Thanks. That's what I initially did. Bought a travel machine. Apex XT Fit. It lacked a lot features...

Re: Nasal mask similar to Profile Lite

I have been using the Respronics Profile Lite Gel mask ever since I started using my CPAP many years ago. Now they have discontinued the mask and I've been trying to find something with a similar fit but so far no luck. I use a high pressure and hate the feeling of air blowing on my nose which most...

Re: Dream Station

As Pugsy mentioned, the suffocating effect is usually answered by raising the starting pressure or removing ramp. Other than that, it also takes time before one gets accustomed in using a machine every night as well as getting the right mask and the right fit. Hang on and you will get there. Sent fr...

Re: Remstar 560 v. Dreamstation Auto

Just as a point of reference but you can pick up a Dreamstration auto for $400-460 on Amazon now which is the same as the PRS1. Surprised me and probably shows sales are not going well for Phillips Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Wow that's cheap. Can you share a link or 2 buddy? I'm looking at ...

Re: Cpap store- Is a photo of my prescription okay?

In my case, I had it scanned and emailed. Although it was another online store, but I think a photo of it should work the same as a scanned copy.

But like what Julie said, best to ask directly the vendor on what is acceptable to them.

Good luck.

Re: Dreammapper error with Dreamstation

As most of the users will suggest here, it would be better to download Sleepyhead (free) instead. Although it might sound convenient to access your data using your mobile device, it can't beat the information SH will give you. On the other hand, let's wait for someone who has better experience with ...

Re: Do you purchase two cpap and use one as a backup?

It may probably be left there idle most of the time. I have two identical machines. I don't like to leave my backup machine idle. While at home, the two machines are rotated each quarter. (One is in the drawer for a quarter while the other is in use.) My calendar is set to send me a reminder to swi...

Re: Do you purchase two cpap and use one as a backup?

Yes I did. I bought a Remstar 560 and an APEX fit travel machine. Looking back, I should have bought two 560s instead. I'm not from the CONUS and since I bought my first machine from CONUS, downtime as result of a machine bogging down would be unacceptable. I need an immediate backup. Sent from heaven

Re: Whats the treatment if CPAP machine does nothing?

The community will need more info/data to help you buddy.

But for starters, how about another confirmatory sleep study if cost is not a problem?

Perhaps you can also post data from your 30 day cpap use, assuming the machine you used was data capable
