Re: Dream Station Readings
Hi everyone, I am currently on a trial with my DME. This is my second APAP from Respironics. I noticed something odd after installing the mobile app and syncing data. Unlike with my Encore Pro software, I rarely, but I did on occasion see central events on my stats. However, looking at the very lim...

Re: Dream Station Readings
There isn't much to tell - everything looks about perfect... I'm sure you can tell for yourself if you look at them, but if there's something particular you don't get please say and we'll help interpret. Your AHI does need improvement, but I hope raising your low pressure will take care of it, and ...

Re: Dream Station Readings
Hi - ok, great! The first thing, 5 is almost the default (4) low of pressures, and it wouldn't hurt to raise it e.g. to 8 for a couple of nights at least to see if it helps with the lack of air feeling. You may end up not even needing 8, but 7 in future, though the likelihood is that you could go a...

Re: Dream Station Readings
Rickey - while most #'s look good, there aren't enough of them to base anything on, esp. as your AHI is actually higher than you might like. Please download Sleepyhead results on Imgur.com, size appropriately and leave a link to them in this thread. As before, ou're stingy with info and we can't he...

Thanks guys..The place I'm dealing with is very reasonable, and will let me exchange a mask within 30 days ,at no fee. Scott, I'm starting off with a pillow mask, thanks for the heads up. I bought the Respironics Dream Station, and the DreamWear nasal pillow, 645.00 for everything. Thanks...

Re: Which type mask do i need?
Anything more - a little history, how long you've been at it - in fact are you even on C/Apap now and at what pressures, using which mask? How is your sleep in general, do you wake up overnight or sleep thru and how do you feel? What machine - in as much detail/wording as you can find - do you have...

Re: Rent or Buy
My ins does buy or rent. I have not been tested on a cpap. I haven't seen a prescription, or written test results. I'm thinking about buying my own. If I can't use it, I can sell it at a loss, and not lose much more than my trial period rent will be. well, that's why you have to do the numbers, and...

Re: Rent or Buy
I'm more confused than ever. if you don't say why you're confused, nobody can help you. Well, i just had to pay over 500 dollars,to the DR and sleep lab. They ask me which DME i want to use, and i barely even know what that is. People on here tell me to buy my own machine, that i don't even know how...

Re: Rent or Buy
Word to the wise . . . NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER Trust the DME to "contact the insurance company to find out anything about what your insurance will or will not cover. ALWAYS confirm yourself by contacting the insurance company yourself. You cannot trust a DME to either 1) actually cont...
