Price matching on CPAP.com
Greetings, I understand CPAP.com will price match competitors products. Does anyone know if that also applies to the Encore Viewer 1.0 software and smart card reader? I'm seriuosly thinking of getting both and was going to buy the card reader from two-factors.com (considerably cheaper), but if CPAP....

Hey, thanks everyone for the ideas and suggestions. I may try the gauze method - got nothing to loose I guess. Thanks BDP522 Brenda. As for JUM001's idea of switching sides of the bed, well that's all fine and dandy until I roll to my other side and we're back to the same pickle. If nothing else I w...

Greetings fellow 'pappers' & 'papper-ettes' I use and love my ComfortLite 2 mask but my wife hates it. The exhaust ports blow air on her when I'm side sleeping facing her. She's not liking that air blowing on her all night which causes a grouchy wife come morning. Has anyone else encountered this pr...

Hi swtsassy65, Yes, some of us do work nights, like me. Been doing it for 28 years (rotating 12 hour shift). I've been on CPAP for 2 years and still fight sleep sometimes at work. It's just the nature of our bodies. A few years ago I did a seminar on the effects of shift work on your body. That's a ...

Hi Suserbec, I also started on a RemStar Pro with C-Flex. Originally my C-Flex setting was set on the highest setting and I was having difficulty exhaling. Because I was just renting this unit, the rental folks gave me a quickie lesson on the basic operation but failed to instruct me on fruther opti...

MikeT, You might want to purchase a UPS (uninterruptable power supply) unit from a computer supplier. These are battery units designed to provide short term power for computer systems to be properly shut down by the operator. You might have to do a little research on just how long they would continu...

Hi JEN, You mentioed in your post about mid back pain using your cpap. I too have experienced this - mine being in my lower rib section all around my torso. I have been on cpap (RemStar Pro w/C-Flex) for 5 weeks and have had this pain since day one. I usually get 6 hours of good sleep before the pai...
