New numbers advice
I still can't get my AHI down. My doctor started me on CPAP at pressure 15 and AHI didn't improve. With advice from the board I switched my machine to auto and set my pressures at 15/17 and have used this for several nights now. I'm confused and don't know if I really should be using CPAP at a highe...

Re: changed my pressure settings
My sleep study showed centrals as well as OSA at 22 AHI's. She put me on straight CPAP at pressure 16. I never could get my AHI's down.
With advice from this site I switched to pressure min 15 max 20 but the high pressure was causing my mask to leak.

changed my pressure settings
I lowered my Max pressure to 17 and had a great night with no leaks waking me up. However my AHI increased. Should I increase the pressure to 18 and try that? What about the min pressure?
Thanks

Thanks

Any tips on "adjusting" the mask to high pressures?Wulfman... wrote:Full face masks need to be properly sized......and, if you're using a range of pressures......adjusted to the highest pressure it may reach.

Leaking mask with pressure change
With the great advice from this forum I made some changes to the pressure settings on my machine. This was to try and bring down my AHI's. The changes seemed to help with that but the increased pressures have started giving me mask leaks around the eyes and mouth all through the night. I cannot slee...

Re: new machine settings
I've discovered my EPR is set at 3
My ramp is set to auto and the beginning pressure is 4. Would that be related to the 11.5 number you mentioned?

Re: new machine settings
You have indicated the range to min of 15 cmH2O and max of 20 cmH2O but the chart indicates that the min is about 11.5 cmH2O so perhaps you have either not set it correctly or made a typo in your original post. I set he autoset at min 15 max 20. In any event, it appears that the pressure support on...
