Daily cleaning a Swift FX Nano nasal mask
Hi, when using a cleaning wipe for daily cleaning, do you wipe the inside and outside of the mask or just the part that touches the face?

Re: Husband complains of sound coming from me or my machine
May have been an issue with my soap, as its formulated for dry skin. I switched to one for normal skin yesterday. I also got new cleaning wipes for the mask. i didn't use the new wipes yet since I completely cleaned the mask in sudsy water yesterday. I also tightened the Velcro straps a bit more. Hu...

Re: OT: Colonoscopy
There are varying reviews on the preps, mostly positive about how well they work; especially compared to earlier concoctions.---The reviews were mixed about the taste. I treated mine like the world's weirdest jumbo Margarita, with a dash of lime juice on the side, and sea salt on my palm. I have Cr...

Re: Husband complains of sound coming from me or my machine
My machine says the seal is fine and no leaks. I know that doesn't mean there's zero leaks, but that I'm not going over whatever level the machine deems as "leaking". No, the machine is not saying that there's no leaking, it's just saying that you're not having bad enough leaks to compromise the th...

Re: Husband complains of sound coming from me or my machine
Before going the couch route, and while you're figuring out what the problem is, ear plugs are really easy for him to use. I agree, the answer for you isn't to stop your therapy...him suggesting that says that he really doesn't understand what's at stake for you. The ear plugs that I use are foam o...

Re: "Political" letter from Apria
With regard to Apria, I had nothing but hassles with them. They tried to bill me twice for the same invoice. They totally screwed up my services in other ways to the point that they insisted that I turn in my APAP machine "within 10 days" then promptly billed me for the rest of the month that I did...

Re: Husband complains of sound coming from me or my machine
Is he hearing the exhaust vent blowing against the covers? If it doesn't happen all the time, then it's not the machine because that would be constant. We run a fan for white noise. That could help. Thanks, I don't think it's the exhaust fan? Because I just asked him and he said its like a squealin...

Husband complains of sound coming from me or my machine
Good morning, Husband told me that the first night was great (as in I did not snore) but ever since then he hears a gushing or squealing sound. He could not replicate sound, I personally think he means like a whistling type sound. He says it's coming from either me or machine, he says he can't tell....

Re: ResMed myair app
Mary your Resmed CPAP is connected to the Resmed server through cellular data. However to access this data, you must first register your e-mail and device number to Resmed website. With or even without the app, you can access that data. However if you want to use the app, your smartphone and CPAP m...

Re: ResMed myair app
Good morning, So what is a S+ unit (silver rectangular thing?) and does one need it to use this app? Seems so. Yet the lady who did the cpap demo for me when I went to get the machine told me I could download and use the app. It's no biggie, one less app on my phone won't kill me , just wondered wh...

Re: any good sleep clinic in NY City area?
Hello, Do you live in the city or outside the city? I live just north of Westchester County. I see a guy in Ossining but he is part of Mount Kisco Medical Group and I think also has an office in Mount Kisco or one of their other offices (Yorktown area maybe). He is a lung specialist but I was told (...

ResMed myair app
Good morning, For laughs I downloaded the myair app, figuring I'd have some data to show the Dr in Wednesday. I will probably forget to bring the the SD card. I have not d/l Sleepyhead yet. My computer isn't playing nicely lately so I rarely use it. Anyway I know the current thinking here is that My...
