Re: Tinnitus anyone?
I've had it for years due to exposure to LOUD rock music. No OTC snake oil helps. Usually some hearing loss is experienced as well. See an ENT. Good website I've found on all things Tinnitus: http://www.hearingreview.com/products/tinnitus/ Devices being developed; the Levo System: http://otoharmonic...

Re: Dreamstation - clicking sound
I've used the DreamStation for 166 days and have not experienced the noise you describe. I would recommend you double-check the filter fitment, make sure it is snug (a Philips brand?), hose connections are tight, machine on a stable platform with no wobbles, hose routing is secure, etc. I'm just not...

Re: Autopap for nasal congestion
I've experienced the same issue of sinus congestion pre and during (166 days) PAP therapy. Used steroids, Flonase, raised the head of the bed, humidification, no humidification, to no avail. Afrin WAS my sinus friend but we all know the pitfall of using a decongestant. Went to a second ENT to addres...

Re: Emptying dreamstation water
Got it. This is like texting, you can go back and forth, never really getting the point. The reservoir lifts out easily, just grab it by the opening edge and lift straight up. The user manual is lacking in that respect. The humidifier section can also be detached by pressing the square button on the...

Re: Emptying dreamstation water
I own the Dreamstation and it has an easy to open removable reservoir for filling and cleaning any way you prefer.
I use distilled water and there should be no reason for mold buildup if cleaned regularly.

Re: Dreamwear & pressure settings
I'm an enthusiastic DreamWear user as well. There are 2 vent locations, top of mask at the hose elbow and in front of nasal piece. I've experimented between the small and medium nasal piece and even though I was measured for the small by my DME, I find I get better flow pressure from the medium. I h...

Re: Modem keeps disconnecting
Kitt, I have the DreamStation setup. I believe the modem is a stand alone, does not connect to or need your wifi to transmit data to the DME monitoring compliance. Statement about modems from the online Dreammapper app: "After your homecare provider assigns a modem, the modem will automatically uplo...

Re: DreamStation Help Needed
Agree w/palerider.
I have the DreamStation and the DME had the modem installed when I took possession of it.
The Sleepyhead program works fantastically with the DreamStation.
I'm using beta 1.0.0-beta-2 (https://sleepyhead.jedimark.net/)

Re: Adjusting Dreamwear Mask?
I've been using the DreamWare mask (Medium/Small)for 4 weeks now.
My measurements were Medium frame and small nasal.
I have adjusted the Ramp start from 5 to 7 and have found that has helped me immensely.

Re: Bubble breathing
I'm 6 weeks into my CPAP therapy and found the same happening to me.
Someone recommended a soft cervical collar to mitigate that and it has worked for me in the 3 weeks I've worn the collar.

Re: Whistling mask
I've been using the Dreamware mask for 2 weeks and occasionally it will whistle. A couple of times when the pressure is up, it will whistle and I can press the Ramp down button on the Dreamstation, the pressure reduces so does the whistle. Other instances, I've slightly adjusted the mast and it goes...

Agree with palerider.
I've used the Wisp and am using the Dreamware masks and both packages identify X1 as the setting.

Re: New to CPAP therapy and would appreciate SH data review
Hi All, Updated my DreamStation info. I created my profile way back when I didn't know the difference. I also updated the SH charts in the OP,following the Imgur instructions to use 'Linked BB" and large thumbnail. NOTE: Last night (4/21/2016) AHI was 3.35. I'm thrilled. Also picked up an oximeter, ...
