Re: DVLA
Scratch that. I know it sounds ignorant. I am in denial. But not in denial about being in denial What a few days this has been... Kudos to all you long timers for keeping it together Once I know for certain I am ALL IN. Trust me. It appears the hospital knows for certain, i'm sure my body knows for ...

Re: DVLA
As a side question, my other half was as surprised as I was by the results. With no symptoms coupled with the fact that I actually record my sleep (albeit only sound) the only thing that sounds dodgy on playback is my congestion which causes coughing in the night. The sound wave pictures all look ve...

Re: DVLA
This site gets high ranking on Google and other search engines - which is why people from the UK and other places outside the USA arrive here. But you need to understand, rls535 , that most people in the US don't have the information you are seeking. They're good on helping you adjust and modify yo...

Re: DVLA
Thanks!
Yes a long time to wait, but it's on the NHS so can't grumble too much. I'm grateful the nurse let me take the equipment to get started in the meantime!

DVLA
Hi there So, my Dr referred me for a sleep study and I saw a nurse on Monday who said I had mild to moderate sleep apnea but she can't diagnose me as she's a nurse. My consultant appointment is not until August! In the meantime, although I am starting CPAP treatment, do I need to inform DVLA? I am a...

Re: Newbie, hi :-)
Thanks all! Mask not uncomfortable but the reason I went to Dr in first place is because I'm soooo snotty... So just had to get up to clear the sneeze from my mask that I've just done ha ha :') not gone to sleep yet, bit of air gushing out so an adjustment needed but nothing that can't be worked on.

Re: Newbie, hi :-)
Yeah we're both struggling to take this in as he says he's never seen/heard me struggling in the night and I'm not tired in the day (don't need to nap, scored 3 on Epworth for what it's worth!) Dr just said she would be "interested" to see if I had Apnea, referred me and Bam! :-S who knew..

Newbie, hi :-)
Hi all Today been diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea. Went to the doctor initially for an allergy test and somehow ended up with referral to sleep clinic so I am shocked. Can't seem to stop myself crying! Having the very short sighted panic of "how will I spoon my boyfriend now?!" Have nose...
