turning pressure down
is it possible to access the setup menu of my machine to turn the pressure down? it's too. darn. high. I can't get a mask to fit for any length of time. the pressure blows it off my face. leaks galore. if i tighten it enough to stop that, it's pushing down into my face and it hurts. I've tried three...

Re: Adjusting to new machine... mask issues
well.. last night went.. better? i dealt with leaks all night, ended up pulling the bottom of the mask over my chin a bit to hold it down off my nose. the lady at the DME, and the therapist at the dr. told me I have a "tiny face" (which made me laugh)... the DME sent me home with a medium, but that'...

Adjusting to new machine... mask issues
Hello again It's been a week (or two now I think) with my new machine, and I've had some really good nights, some not so good. The initially sent me home with a Simplus FFM, but after the first few nights I hated it with the fire of a thousand suns..called them and asked for a new Swift FX. i love t...

Re: new machine, very high pressure & mask problems

I'm not very assertive, so it was hard to fight back for the mask i knew i wanted when i was t...

new machine, very high pressure & mask problems
Good morning some history: I've been using cpap for 7 years, swift xl mask. I had no problems, and in that entire time (after about a week of getting used to it) I didn't sleep a single night without it. Went for a sleep study as a follow up, and they needed to do some serious adjustment to my thera...

Re: moving to full face mask :/
Have you been using software to monitor your leaks? If not, that would be the first step. no :/ when I first started, I had grand plans of doing so. I insisted on a data-capable machine, bought the card reader, installed the software.. I think I monitored my data for a few weeks then stopped. I can...

Re: Hose wrapped up
I think you do need something with a little give so it doesn't pull on your mask when you move or you will increase leaks. There are regular hose holders that pack and travel easily, or you can make up one with something that has give like a bungee, ponytail holder, or large rubber band. I leave en...
