Re: Distilled water in foreign countries
I can't translate bottle as the writing is blurred by the stamp. I have used it and it has no smell or taste and does not seem to done me harm yet. Just seems like a strange place to get something to put in medical device. I went to multiple pharmacy and all sent me there. Hope to be with good trans...

Searched all over for distilled water going to pharmacies, grocery stores and convenient stores. Asking for distilled water a...

Bubble breathing
I keep waking up when my lips pop out and a bubble of air pops out.
Is there any way to stop this? I don't have it every night and chin strap does not help. I don't mouth breath other than these bubbles that wake me

Re: One month Dr visit and change in pressure
Update: Finished with my test run and the new setting is 9.6. I knew that 6 was too low and that it needed to be higher. Will find out tonight how well I can handle being set to CPAP mode again. APAP was bugging me as the pressure would get too low and then seem to cause air leaks that woke me. I wo...

Re: One month Dr visit and change in pressure
Just got a letter in the mail from my insurance company saying they do not accept this "home sleep study" with the auto setting. I didn't know this was a sleep study except for the Dr getting information on calculating my pressure. I don't understand them denying service or how that can be being it ...

Re: One month Dr visit and change in pressure
I was set at 6 as that is what the titration test was done at she said. I knew it was too low as I have been fighting for air. Yes it starts at 5 and I struggle to get to sleep at that low pressure. I will try to log when I do wake up to see if it is a high or low setting time. My bet is it when low.

One month Dr visit and change in pressure
I finally was able to see my Neurologist and she was happy with my progress in less than 1 apnea event per hour and my great compliance. My only complaint has been I wake up and it is like I can not get enough air. No problems breathing out. Changing from pillows to nasal mask helped some but still ...

Re: Overnight shift
I work a swing shift a few nights every other week. I found taking a nap in the afternoon (with my CPAP) for a few hrs works great to get me through the night. I am on 16 hr shifts during these nightshifts and am exhausted when i get out. I do the same to switch back to days by sleeping about 4 hrs ...

Re: New user: feeling of drowning/suffocation?
I found the same issue of suffocation and not being able to catch my breath. I am also on a low pressure setting and am sure a little higher might help but I found the Pillows mask I had was the issue. I switched to a nasal masked and no longer have that feeling.

First night with Dreamwear
I have tried an Airfit P10, Airfit N10 and now Dreamwear. Last night was my first night with Dreamwear. I did wake up once and found it had slipped partially off but still kept a seal. I think this is because the silicon was stuck to my face and a little uncomfortable for that. I got up and went and...

Re: Cpap bag size for FLIGHT
Will airport security let me fly ? Yes, just let security know it is a CPAP and I also printed the medical tag to place on my bag. It would not hurt to print the letter that is on the forums here that show medical equipment is allowed and not considered extra baggage just in case. Do a search here ...

Re: ResMed myair app
Good morning, So what is a S+ unit (silver rectangular thing?) and does one need it to use this app? Seems so. Yet the lady who did the cpap demo for me when I went to get the machine told me I could download and use the app. It's no biggie, one less app on my phone won't kill me , just wondered wh...
