I totally understand (I think) your feeling like you are suffocating. I fought it for a month. Putting that mask over my face is what caused the feeling. Just keep trying, a little bit every day. It was suggested that I sit with the mask on while watching TV or sitting reading without being in bed. ...

Any help for how to install Sleepyhead? I have a ResMed machine and computer has Windows 10. I am having my first recall visit with my sleep doctor next week. Will she explain things to me?

I have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and recently started using a CPAP since about March. I had a very rough start for the first month. I think I averaged about 2 hours a night for at least 2 weeks with some skips. I talked with another person who also had a CPAP and he encouraged me to use...

Wow I didn't know about the exhale relief thing. I will have to look into that because I experience the same sort of thing.

I am still struggling trying accept this mask. I don't like having something over my mouth. I decreased the temperature and had one night where I was able to actually fall asleep with the machine running. The mask was on without any air leaking. The machine isn't registering that there are leaks but...

I checked my settings and discovered that the tube temperature was set at auto, which it looks like could go as high as 85 or 90. What would be the suggested temp to try? I lowered it to 78

If i unplug my machine to move it, will that cancel all of the settings? I did not set up my machine so I don't know what numbers were used

I am going to try again tonite wearing it to sleep but this time I will lie on bed instead of sitting in my recliner chair. Advice anyone?

All I know about my settings is that it is set to go from 5-15. If I don't use the machine but only put the mask on, won't that effect my compliance?
