Re: I'm so sick of this--venting
Again, thanks for the replies. I have NO idea what happened to my original post. How strange! Anyway, thanks for adding it back in. I have a better attitude about therapy today, as I had a better night's sleep. I sincerely appreciate everyone's suggestions and comments. I will continue working for a...

Re: I'm so sick of this--venting
Thank you for your replies! Some days it all feels overwhelming (especially when I don't get a solid night's sleep!). I haven't tried other masks yet because no one explained to me that I could order additional masks/pillow more frequently than the every 3 month automatic supply, even when I asked (...

I'm so sick of this--venting
I've been trying to get this to work for me. I'm in my 4th month of therapy and I'm so done with it. vent alert *I'm tired of waking up every night (still) and then unable to quickly fall back to sleep because the headgear has slipped or the nasal pillow is leaking or the tube is around my neck or m...

Re: New and scared
I just wanted to say that hi and to hang in there! I'm only on week 5 of therapy so I was in your shoes not too long ago. The unknown is scary. What if it doesn't work? What if I can't sleep with the machine? What if, what if, what if? My advice, first and foremost, is to read, read, read, and read ...

Re: "Political" letter from Apria
Oh boy...what am I missing here? I'm new to this and so far have only had one encounter with Apria...to get my machine and accessories. Overall it went fine. Sounds like I'm waiting for the other shoe to fall now. Great...something else to manage.

Sleepyhead compatible with Windows 10?
We just got a new computer with Windows 10. I've come across a couple types of software that don't yet work well with it. Before I download sleepyhead, can anyone confirm it's compatibility with Windows 10? TIA

Thank you!
I was diagnosed mid-February and picked up my machine on March 3. I've had 5 nights with it, and while it hasn't been miraculous for me, it is going better than I had anticipated. This is due, in large part, to this board. As soon as I was diagnosed, I went online and quickly found this board. I've ...

Another Newbie--which mask to start with
Picking up equipment from DME tomorrow. I'm scheduled to receive a "ResMed AirSense 10 w/Heated humidified" and a "ResMed Mirage FX Nasal mask for her". My biggest concern is the mask. I'd prefer to start with nasal pillows, but am concerned that with my deviated septum that a nasal mask/pillow of a...
