Re: Traveling abroad: Voltage, plugs, etc.
Thank you, Rick Blaine. Much appreciated. Yes, looking at the big square brick right now, says range is 100-240V. And Chile (according to Google) supplies electricity at 220V, so I'm guessing I'll be fine. Surge protector is a great suggestion, too. Thank you. I'm continually impressed by how friend...

Re: Training Mouth to Stay Closed - Looking for Advice
I use the Breathewear Halo Chinstrap, which I swore I'd never use, and it works fine. Didn't even take getting used to. Just strapped it on and, voila, my mouth stays shut. Initially I hated the idea of something strapped around my head to hold my mouth shut. Just seemed...wrong. But alas, I strap o...

Traveling abroad: Voltage, plugs, etc.
Hi CPAP Gang, I'm lucky enough to be traveling to Chile over the holidays. Will bring my ResMed AirSense 10 machine and back-ups of my Respironics Dreamwear Nasal Mask. I found the plug/adapters I need for that country, but am wondering about "voltage converters." Does anyone know: do I need to buy ...

Re: New CPAPer, feeling discouraged, leaking like a flat tire

Okay, so I really am at the beginning here. I was thinking (dreaming) that I'd get the machine, get a mask, sleep with it all and, wham, problem solved.
Been reading the forum info for newbies. That helps a lot.

New CPAPer, feeling discouraged, leaking like a flat tire
Hi Gang, I'm new to CPAP. Diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. Grateful my sleep problem has a name and, ideally, a solution. Using Fisher & Paykel Simplus full face mask, pressure at 14. It's leaking all over. Wakes me up all night. Have adjusted the straps this way and that. Got "Pad a Cheek" face l...
