Re: Anyone here switched from nasal to full-mask?
A bit off topic....Ive used nasal pillows for years in particular the Phillips gel pillows. However, Phillips discontinued the gel pillows and their replacement isn't as secure. The nasal inserts are flappy. I recently tried the Wisp nasal mask and initially liked it. But after a few days noticed th...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
After 18 months I received the replacement DS2 today. Bluetooth setup was a PITA, but otherwise setup wasn't too bad. As others have commented, the water chamber design isn't as user friendly as the DS. Its a bit cumbersome to remove the top to refill. The water level mark on the isn't easy to see. ...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I registered my Dreamstation on 08/04/2021 and shortly thereafter paid out-of-pocket for a Resmed AirSense 10 Auto Set, pending the Phillips replacement. Fast forward to today...I spoke with Phillips and was told my replacement device had not yet been ordered but it should happen before year end. Mo...

Re: CPAP replacement for someone newly under Medicare
Here is my experience. I've been on a CPAP with 100% use since 2015 and was covered through employer insurance until 11/2019 when I moved to Medicare and a Plan F supplemental. I purchased a Resmed 10 Auto Airsense (out of pocket) last year following the Dreamstation recall. I didn't want to go thro...

Re: OSCAR 1.3.0 is released 10/17/2021
I tried to install the Mac version of 1.3.0 and was unable to under Mac OS 12.1. I get the following pop up: “OSCAR” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. This item is on the disk image “OSCAR-1.3.0.dmg”. Firefox downloaded this disk image today at 7:44 AM from www.sleepfiles.co...

Re: Dreamware noise is keeping me awake
I am a newbie but I have tried quite a few options so far and the dreamwear nasal pillows has been my best fit overall so far. I really like the top of of the head style connection on the Dreamwear and the N30i and have struggled with full face options so I have mainly used those two masks. I like ...
