What is the protocol for carrying it on a flight? Do you just put it on the conveyor belt for the x-ray machine with the rest of your luggage or do you give it directly to one of the attendants?

This doesn't directly relate to the CPAP device but I cured my nighttime acid reflux problem by simply eating earlier. I quit eating anything for at least 4 hours before retiring and I haven't had any problems since.
