A Couple of Machines for Sale

SLEEPSTYLE 234 CPAP MACHINE PACKAGE WITH BUILT-IN HUMIDIFIER I bought this a couple of years ago and only used it for about 5 months. I kept it as a backup but never needed it. I would like to get it to someone who does. It does not have an SD card slot to track your data on softwares like Sleepyhe...

Re: what are the gotchas if you buy your own

I bought all my stuff because my old insurance company was crappy. I made the mistake of just trying to go cheap at first. As a result I ended up with a machine that worked great but had no tracking features. I also tried 4 different masks until I found one I could tolerate--the Dreamwear. I have us...

Re: Enlarged Nasal Turbinates and Nasal Masks

I just had my turbinates reduced and my adenoids removed on 6/27/2017. I am wondering if you experienced nausea? I am no longer on any meds but have been super nauseated off and on. I can have a day where I feel normal, and then bam! It's back. I am thinking it is drainage.

Re: Dreamwear Head Gear

That was happening to me as well when I had a small. I went up to medium and it stopped. Also, I find if I have the straps too loose it does it too. Do you think you think you have a small face?

StrapFace :(

Note to self not to let my face get sunburned. The Dreamware and sunburn do not mix. I have been walking around with these chaffed strap marks on my face all day. Sigh.

Re: Has anyone regained there sense of humor?

I know what you mean. I have been on CPAP since December, I am slowly becoming less grumpy. I think even my husband noticed the other day. I still do not feel like I will ever be caught up on my sleep, but slowly but surely I feel like I am a little happier.

Re: PR System One - disable/turn off bluetooth possible?

I have the same machine but I leave the Bluetooth on. Here's what you do: Turn the knob to Setup. Push the knob down and press the ramp button. Hold until you hear two beeps. Then turn the knob to Bluetooth. It probably says "on." Turn the knob so that it says "off" and press the knob. That will sav...

Milestone Reached - An Episode Free Nap - YAY!

Finally. I had an hour and 20 minute lap today with an AHI of 0.00. Sleepyhead gave me a . Not one snore! And I had a dream! Sorry for the post but this could be the first time in years that this has happened. I have only been on the CPAP since December and am pretty sure I have had sleep apnea my w...

Re: How many mask changes did you go through at first?

I agree about the ramp. My pressure is 11.5, so if I try to use the ramp I feel like I am suffocating. You really start to notice that after the first few nights. I think I gave it up after a week.

Re: How many mask changes did you go through at first?

I'm on my 4th--the Dreamwear. I tried a full mask, a nasal, a pillow and I can't stand anything but the Dreamwear.
