Re: external power source for camping with CPAP

I've been using this with my airsense10 since '21 I can get about 5 nights if I shut off humidity and heat. I love it except it doesnt work in below freezing weather. Are there better options, I'm sure , but this one is pretty plug and play for what I do. (camping with cuub and boy scouts) https://w...

Resmed motor life exceeded.. What unit to get?

My cpap is 5-6ish years old ( EDIT, i've had it since 2015.. .) and Just started getting the "motor life exceeded" message. Its an air sense 10. Should I get the same unit? Is there a newer version with features that might be nice? Mine sits on the nightstand 95% of the time, the other 5%, I'm campi...

Cold weather camping and airsense 10

Went camping with my cub scouts. It got below freezing. At some point in the night I took the cpap off because my face was freezing, I was on battery power so had heat and humidity off. We’re going camping again in January and am wondering what my options are? It’s only 1 night, Larger battery? Woul...

What off the shelf portable power source for air sense 10?

Awhile ago I was trying to configure some Milwaukee batteries to run my cpap.
While I still want to make that work, I’m looking for an off the shelf solution 3-5 nights would be ideal.

Re: Camping with the cub scouts? resmed airsense and power tool batteries?

I'm using the jack on both the M18 and m12 power sources, which I've verified puts out 12V.
I guess i'm stuck buying the resmed dc convertor since the Cpap needs to "recognize" the power source

Re: Camping with the cub scouts? resmed airsense and power tool batteries?

This video mentions that the resmed needs a special connector with a "chip" in it to recognize a power source...
Is this adapter available? or am I stuck buying the DC adapter from resmed?

Re: Camping with the cub scouts? resmed airsense and power tool batteries?

I've also got some 12V Milwaukee stuff, and the 12V power source. Same results. When I plug in, the green light on top of the cpap blinks once.

I bought this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RFH6JQJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and plugged it into a milwaukee 18v battery via this https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Power-Source-Tool-Only-49-24-2371/203461325?mtc=Shopping-B-F_D25T-G-...

Re: f20 elbow developed a whistling air leak last night

Maybe i'm referring to the wrong piece, but the two masks have different "elbows" The whistling is coming from the "exhaust " port
I also swapped out the cushion for the memory foam version same result

The old mask (f10) uses a completely different elbow.

f20 elbow developed a whistling air leak last night

Has anyone else had this happen. I switched from an f10 to f20 a couple months ago, last night a whistling leak developed that was loud enough to wake my wife up. I've confirmed its the elbow by hooking the old mask back up, no leaks... On the topic of the f20, I'm not sure I really love this mask. ...

Camping with the cub scouts? resmed airsense and power tool batteries?

I haven't been camping since I got my machine 3 years ago. I've read a bunch of battery threads and found some good info, although a bit overwhelming.

I'm fairly invested in the Milwaukee 18v lineup. can these batteries? 5AH-12AH be used to power my cpap for a few nights?
