Events vs leaks

I have been experiencing increased events yet no leaks.
The events are thankfully still less than 5, but 4 is disturbing when I had been having 1 or 2 at the most.
I am wondering why this is happening.
(I use a nasal mask. . .a ReMed Air Sense 10 with ClimateLine)
Any thoughts?

mask riding up

I have been on CPAP for almost six months. I use a Swift FX nano, but must keep pulling it down during the night, otherwise, I will be wearing it around my eyes. I am already a bit claustrophobic due how close the top of it is to my eyes so this does not help. ResMed told me today in my report to ma...

Re: Good Nasal Pillow Mask to Try?

I have tried a number of masks, both pillow and nasal and always come back to Swift FX Nano nasal mask. I have few events, normally from .5 to .8 and little or not leaking. Despite the fact I sleep on my side and back leaks are almost non-existent. Good luck in trying different ones. I found it a ni...

Re: CPAP *causing* strange odor??

when was the last time you cleaned your tubing and humidifier? Mildew and mold will build up if you leave it
without proper weekly cleaning.
I clean my mask/headgear daily and my tubing (Climateline) and humidifier weekly.

Re: Need a New Machine....Which one?

I recommend ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP with Climateline. It has served me well.
Good luck making your decision

Re: Air Being Forced Out of My Mouth

YES, I experienced no matter what sort of mask I wore and it started from the first day I cranked up my machine. It was very distracting and annoying as it kept me from falling asleep and sometime I would find it turned into a quasi-leak to the point it would wake me up. I finally gave up and now us...

Re: Air bubble in mouth

Air bubbles were a continuous problem till I finally gave up and now use a chin strap and it has been very helpful
as the bubbles do not turn into full blown leaks
Prior to the use of a chin strap it was very annoying and distracting to feel this happen as I was trying to get to sleep.

My ResMed AirSense 10 is whistling

When I first began to use it that was not the case, but last night as soon as I hooked and turned
on the machine it began whistling/whining etc.
I shut it off and restarted it again and it was quiet.
Does anyone else have the same problem and have you any idea what may be causing it?

Phillips Respironics chin guard

When I had my sleep study they used a chin guard on me. I was convinced though that I did not need it once the study was over. HOWEVER, I have reconsidered due to problem with little bubbles/blips of air escaping through my mouth which often become full leaks The bad news is I can find no instructio...
