Re: Has your CPAP caused weird/scary dreaming?
Well I am happy to say the two nights since I don't recall any disturbing dreams. Must have just been something weird going on. The ResMed website has reported my scores between "good" and "great" each night since I've been using it. Last night was only night #6. Today is the first day I'd say I fel...

Has your CPAP caused weird/scary dreaming?
Been about a week since I have been trying my new CPAP and I have had disturbing dreams. Last night was particularly bad- the problem is in my dream I have trouble breathing and I feel my face and I have my mask on so I take it off... and wake up... but then I realize I took my mask off in a dream a...

Thanks again, added equipment info to profile. Last night was first night with the heated air tube, also first night I managed to get 4 hours of use. Waiting for the data to upload to the Res Med website... we have been unplugging it since it was in the way when I finished using it, today it's been ...

Re: New Machine- scared to use it.
So I started getting used to the mask today. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. It was still at low pressure 4 to 5, but after a few minutes I was wondering if it was even on or not, that was exactly right. The key is keeping my mouth closed. If I open it or try to talk I feel the air...

Re: New Machine- scared to use it.
Thanks so much for all the ideas/comment. Here is my sleep report- http://imgur.com/a/iuqm7 3 pages. (The results of each of 2 nights and the overall report.) Thank you for any suggestions you may have. Since I can't get to their office they sent me the machine figuring we can figure out how to use ...

Re: New Machine- scared to use it.
It's a ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet machine. The mask is a ResMed Mirage FX. Size: Standard. It fits fine over my nose but my head is very big. Before I got sick I went quad riding outside Las Vegas, the company had lots of helmets, but even their biggest one didn't fit around my head. The straps on t...

New Machine- scared to use it.
I need to give a little background here. I am 37 years old. When I was 30 I got a severe case of pancreatitis, ended up in a coma, in a hospital for a year, and eventually came home virtually bed bound. Lost all ability to walk due to "Critical Illness Neuropathy." I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall. When I f...
