R1200ST's Post is spot-on. From personal experience I would be looking more at your drug therapy than the CPAP therapy.

Re: If I never have another sleep study it will be too soon

I was working abroad at the time and had a two week window to get the sleep study done, the CPAP purchased and titrated. Thankf...

Hyperactive or Adrenal Fatigue

Any CPAPer's out there dealing with Adrenal Fatigue or Hyperactive Adrenals that is causing sleep disturbances? The researchers suggest that stressed and/or overactive adrenal glands could be a source of sleep disturbance.

Re: Unusual Sleep Arousal

Starbuck, have you made any other major changes to your sleep habits lately? No major changes for me, same schedule 10pm-6am 7 days a week, good bed, quite, dark room, no TV, consistent room temp, no animals. I first attributed the problem to the BP meds, but have off of those for a month and the p...

Re: Equipment Listed in Your Profile

What equipment are you using that you have chosen but it isn't showing up?
My Posts are just like yours, it only shows Mask, Humidifier, and Additional Comments. Although in my profile the shows the machine I picked from the list it does not show up in the posts.

Re: if I could just keep my mouth shut

I am a big fan of FFM. I find them more comfortable and my AHI is always better with the FFM than the nasal pillows. After trying a bunch I prefer the ResMed F10

Re: Leaving for the Dominican Republic, Questions pls.

Is there a portable generator pack I can put into my CPAP case to carry along with me? Check out CPAP.com they have several options available for auxiliary power for CPAP machines. I traveled all over southern Africa for a year with my machine and had no problems. The extras that came in handy were...

Re: Unusual Sleep Arousal

So here is what the Dr wants to do. Keep in mind we are new to the area where we now live, and I don't have access to the regular doctors that where part of the original apnea diagnosis. Being such, I have to go to the GP to get a referral to specialist. So the GP doesn't seem too worried about the...
