Re: Donning the Amara View
Yes there is a mask setting. Here is the clinical manual if you don't already have it. https://sleep.tnet.com/home/files/resmed-airsense-10-clinical-guide.pdf Okay, that makes sense. Does this setting affect how the machine delivers its designated pressures and how it interprets leakage, etc.? Or p...

Re: Donning the Amara View
I recently got an Amara View to serve as a FFM backup for the inevitable cold/congestion situation. I haven't tried it yet, though, other than a quick donning at the store. Does one need to tell the machine what type of mask is being used? I mean, is there an option in there somewhere where it needs...

My story and some questions
Hello, hose heads! I sheepishly joined your ranks a couple of days before Thanksgiving. Back story: I'm 46. Re: Who pays for Resmed cellular connection
You can't just put a Wi-Fi device in your house with no configuration and expect it to work, nor would you expect the machine to randomly attempt to use open Wi-Fi networks, so surely it is cellular. I suspect the CPAP manufacturers contract for a specific amount of bandwidth usage expected over the...

Re: Years later and still in the dark
You are okay. The message that people get if the machine doesn't like the SD card contents is "invalid card" and gives you a choice to erase..yes or no. Thanks. I appreciate the clarification. I have other questions, but will eventually make a more thorough writeup of my CPAP experience thus far an...

Re: Years later and still in the dark
I have been using CPAP for a mere 7 nights now, but I have dumped my card a few times already for use with SleepyHead. Fascinating stuff. My question...on the last import, I forgot to slide the write-protect switch on the card. I did my import like the previous times on my Windows 8.1 computer. When...
