Hitting the "off" button on Airsense 10 doesn't fully turn it off. Anyone else seeing this?

I have a pretty new airsense 10 machine. When I wake up in the middle of the night or turn it off in the morning via the button, it doesn't fully turn it off. It makes a little puff puff noise and the only way to fully turn it off is to pull out the plug and then plug it back in. Anyone experience t...

Re: Finally got around to checking out sleepyhead

Thank you Pugsy. I took your advice. I've attached the brand new stats w/ the two bottom charts cut off! To be honest at this point I use the CPAP for the beginning of the night and then remove it during the night. I've been using an iPhone app called snorelab to hear how loud I'm snoring when the C...

Hope that worked. Was a little blacker before I wiped it a bit this morning.
Going to wipe it some more now.

If I can take off I will.

Agreed.

I only found that out when the equipment arrived reeking of smoke. Took a month until it was usable.

Re: Mold in cpap machine

It was more of an alert/reminder to folks to check their equipment thoroughly. Wasn't meant to be a question.

Will take pic tonight, thanks so much!

Mold in cpap machine

Woaw, just noticed black spots on the plastic piece attached to my base coap machine. I'm assuming it's mold. I did buy it used from what turned out to br a smoker so it could be related to that and i never noticed?? Anyway, unless that piece is replaceable, I think it's time to buy a brand new cpap...

Re: Finally got around to checking out sleepyhead

Thanks for the reply OkeyDoky! 1. Your AHI sounds good. Congrats on your weight loss. It may or may not decrease your pressure needs. There are normal weight people who need cpap because of their airway structure. Keep monitoring your data. What pressure settings are you using? Thanks! Got 45 more t...

Finally got around to checking out sleepyhead

Holy Moly. I feel like a newbie but based on my post history, I've been doing this over a year! Finally got around to trying to see my stats on sleepyhead. I will read the whole faq thread in detail but meantime wanted to post a couple things I saw: 1. AHI 1.48. I think that means after being correc...
