Re: 3 months in, question about alcohol effects on CPAP
The drinking on weekend has been something we've been doing regularly, nothing new there. The amount didn't really change, but if my wife and I are playing some games at night or watching a movie before bed we'll normally have drinks. Since what happened two weeks ago, I stopped last week an hour or...

3 months in, question about alcohol effects on CPAP
I've been using my prescribed APAP machine and setting since December 2015. I've felt much better since then with being able to sleep regularly and not tired during the day. ON weekends is usually when I like to have some drinks (red wine), and it usually occurs at night, but the last couple of Frid...

Re: Finally got my machine, after 2 days I already feel great
Thanks, yeah that's how I feel right now. I was right up at 6 and didn't want to go back to sleep. So finding extra hours in the day plus feeling is a double bonus.

Finally got my machine, after 2 days I already feel great
I hope I'm not getting ahead of myself or being over optimistic, but after receiving my machine and sucessfully sleeping 2 night with it, I feel like I've been given new life again. Turns out I got a Bi-Pap machine with a modem, and I'm using a nose mask, my setting are 13 breathing in and 9 breathi...

Tiration study complete, CPAP delivery and set up next week
I wrote earlier about how long the total process takes. I was happy that my titration study was done by a more professional place, and that she said push the results through. So, I got a phone call yesterday and the nurse said they will be delivering my CPAP machine and set it up with the settings a...

Re: Newly Diagnosised, what is normal time to get CPAP?
Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll have to just get through it until I get the machine. When I had the sleep study, they put a mask on me half way through the night, so I figured that was the titration part. But when I got the results they said I had to come back for a titration study. When I trie...

Newly Diagnosised, what is normal time to get CPAP?
HI, first time posting here. I was diagnosised with what my doctor reported as significant sleep apnea. I had my original sleep test on October 5th. It took several weeks to hear the results, and now I have to go back for a titration study and they said a nurse will call you to schedule it. Two week...
