Re: Dreamwear Gel Pillows
I also use the Dreamwear gel pillows. I love them and they dont leak unless I twist my head instead of lifting and turning. Great comfortable mask. I just wish the headgear had one extra strap. It always seems to slide up on the back of my head

Re: Injured septum
I will not be working while I heal. I do alot of heavy lifting and crawling under trucks to work on them. I'm taking a week off at minimum. Doctor told me 3 weeks to prevent nose bleeds, but we'll see how it goes. Thanks for all your advice/info

Re: Injured septum
thanks for your responses. It makes sense to not use it. I am required to use it for my CDL license. I guess I'll call my provider and let them know I wont be using it.

Re: Injured septum

CPAP after Septoplasty surgery
I am scheduled for a Septoplasty procedure next week and I have a question for anyone that has had Septoplasty done. My question is, How did you use your CPAP machine after the procedure? I currently use nasal pillows but I doubt I'll be able to use them after the surgery. Do you just not use it or ...

Re: stomach endoscopy & sleep apnea
Just had an Endoscope today. I was told to bring my Cpap machine with me. When I arrived, the front desk asked me if I brought it and I said yes. They took me back to the prep area and the nurse asked me if that was my Cpap and I said yes. She put it under the bed and said I wouldnt be needing it an...

Re: Respironics DreamWear Gel Nasal pillow mask review thread

I recently developed problems with it leaking all of a sudden. tried for a few days to resolve the problem but couldnt. So once I read about the Gel pillow...

Re: Air Sense 10 will not turn on
I recently had the same issue with my 10mo old Air Sense 10. I took it to my DME and we tried a new power cord and it turned back on. He told me he has had a few power cords go bad on these units

Re: New Cpap user question
Did you find the page on organizing and posting Sleepyhead charts- https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyhead ? If you can post a typical night, you can get some good input. It's set from 5-20 right now. This is a so-called wide-open pressure range. With some help on analyzing your SH reports, you...

New Cpap user question
I'm new to the CPAP machine and I've been doing well with it. I get 6-7 hours a night using the unit. However, I always seem to be awakened in the middle of the night with high pressures. Last night it had my mouth blown up like a balloon. My cheeks were bulging out and it woke me right up. I have a...
