Chrisp - Your note on body builders and hormones actually helped me narrow things down a bit, it was helpful. To the rest who think I'm selling something, that's fine by me, cause I'm not. As for the treatment and diagnosis - the jist of it is that there are other 'hidden' things in your environment...

it might be considered too that the apnea woke you up in the first place, and once awake the brain thinks, oh i must have to pee. HAbit forms and volia the peeing seems to become the cause and not the symptom... i think apnea is so hard to daignose becuase all of it's componant symptoms look like ot...

only thing i know for sure about this is once your on the cpap your no longer being prevented from loosing weight by your body.
