Re: Help IDing a mask-- CPAP detectives wanted :)
I am embarrasses to admit this…but I didn’t realize there was a frame. I was thinking (or not thinking as it were) that the headgear would have to be attached to the mask.

Thanks all!
Probably ordering it this week!
Still intrigued as to how the straps work as there aren’t any of the holes that would seem to be necessary.

Help IDing a mask-- CPAP detectives wanted :)
Background Short version: I don't have access to my older records but came across the attached mask in my "CPAP box" as I like the feel of it and has many attributes I find attractive: soft and secure feel around nose; little movement. I am hoping that one of you might recognize it and point me in t...

Re: Unreliable data during “compliance” period?
Well this was exciting! Just signed on for the first time in a while and lots of….err…discussion about my question! First, sincerely, thank you for the energy you put into my question. I’m a poor hobbyist woodworker and on a couple of boards so I am (somewhat) used to this “constructive discussion. ...

Re: Side sleeper with F30 or F&P Evora?
LOVE the hose management. Personally I think that is an under appreciated facet of getting used to all this (newbie here). Also probably why vendors are coming out with top of head connections.JoyD. wrote: ↑Sat Nov 19, 2022 3:03 pm
Here is a photo of the set-up. https://imgur.com/a/2BUHiFk Hope it works well.

Unreliable data during “compliance” period?
First of all TY to all the people who have been answering so many questions for us Newbies. Secondly, don’t yell at me yet about posting data…only a couple of weeks into this journey and just learning how to spell Oscar. (Although I am quite analytical and I’m confident that in a few weeks I’ll be p...

Re: Mask leaking but decent AHI
Thank you for the lengthy and specific reply. I only vaguely understood the first part - don’t even know how to read/find leak data—but that is to be expected given my newness. TOTALLY understood the Mr Happy Face reference though on ResMed. Lmao. I’m going to resist the temptation to ask more quest...

Re: Mask leaking but decent AHI
Understand the question and the reason behind it but I really can’t answer confidently. I wake up a lot anyway so can’t answer if it is the mask leaks. Waking up more because of the slight discomfort of wearing mask I think. Generally tired but possibly a little less so than usual. Thanks for reply.

Mask leaking but decent AHI
Quick background: 1) Tried CPAP multiple times but unsuccessful. Have lost weight in past couple of years and AHI without CPAP has gone from 39 to 23. 2) Trying again and using DreamWear under the nose for past couple of nights with better results (nose is sore but used avg 5 hours over two nights) ...

Keep up the good work asking questions!
I am about a week behind you (2nd night tonight) and following the discussion. I’ve had several failed attempts at this but have lost 25 lbs or so and my max pressure has dropped from 18 to 12 which I hope is going to make acclimation easier.

Re: Help pls...2 specific questions on understanding sleep study
Thanks robysue. In your answer to Question #1 (I would quote but I don't know how to do that yet ) you are just at the limit of my understanding (ok...maybe just a bit beyond) but I understand your explanation-- VERY helpful. Regarding Question 2 on Hypopnea Index (vs AHI) I understand your point AN...

Help pls...2 specific questions on understanding sleep study
Ok...had my sleep study about a month ago and have been lurking on here for a while. I finally got around to asking for a copy of my sleep study and was given the two page "executive study". I plan on going back and asking for the full study (or at least one with a little more data) but I have DATA ...

Re: AirSense10 for Her
Hey Murphy-
We can have a contest! I just got an AirSense 10 Autoset [for him] today also. Can already tell the mask (Dreamware) is better than anything I have tried before (back trying this whole thing after a decade away from it...was never successful previously).
Good luck!
