Re: AirFit P10 Durability
The leak rate seems to not coincide with pressure. I am seeing some leaks in the 4-5 range and more in the 7-9 range. that is where I sleep most of the night. IN playing with the mask last night I found if the hose inst coming straight out when the mask is on the leaks are very noticeable. My first ...

AirFit P10 Durability
I'm about 6 weeks into my cpap treatment. It seems like this Airfir P10 mask is already worn out. I have seen a uptick in large leaks the last few weeks last night large leaks were 10.67%. I took it apart today and gave everything a thorough cleaning. I also got a new nasal pillow in the last week. ...

Re: Exhalation ports are too noisy for spouse!
Disclaimer: I have been a hosehead for a grand total of two days. I have been using the P10 mask and I am quite fond of how quiet it is. Most of the time when I hear it I'm somewhere between 4-7 on the pressure. I can compare it to my fathers growing up and his was very noisy. I hope my nose can adj...

Re: New to Cpap
I got the machine and mask the details are below. The guy who helped me was good I cant believe the price difference between online and the DME provider. At least 50% more. I have insurance that works with the DME and to say they have a few odd policies is a understatement. They also have a 30 day m...

Re: New to Cpap
Sleep Apena runs in the family. MY father has it, I have it. I have a tendency to be a mouth breather at night. I hate having dry mouth almost every day. I have a substantial deviated septum. I don't notice it causing airflow issues its just normal to me. I have been lurking here for the last week a...

New to Cpap
I have a appointment tomorrow to get my cpap from my DME. I don't have any of the stats yet from my at home sleep study. I was told I have mild apnea with 6 events a hour. What questions and concerns should I ask the DME provider? Any follow up questions to send my Docs way? I have asked for a full ...
