They may be reasoning that it's not a good idea to keep masks long-term. Perhaps there's something about germs, molds, etc. of which they're concerned, so they try to build a short life-span into them. This may be especially true for those who do not clean their equipment well or regularly. But you ...

Glad you are finding friendly ears here!

Lucy: I certainly cannot offer any instant solutions or diagnostic help; but I would encourage you to find a way to tell the doctor everything, even that you've found this site. I can't say for certain whether the models are similar enough, but I had a respironics that I was able to tweak up quite a bit by lifting off the case and finding a set-screw styled rheostat. Rested Gal seems to be the self-taught type, which I can really respect. I used to be convinced that my parents kept live bears in their be...

Adjusting levels of GoodKnight 318? First posting.

First Posting. Short version: I want to raise my level from 12 on my GoodKnight 318, but cannot find info on how adjustments are made (the machine tops out at twenty). Longer version: I have an apparently old GoodKnight 318 (so old that it is not a selection on this site) that is no longer set high...
