Re: New CPAP user
I still don't feel any difference when I wake up with using the machine. I have got more used to the full face mask but it has been bothering my with riding up and bothering my eyes. I got a different full face mask, one with a forehead piece that is supposed to help prevent it from riding up i gues...

Also, I am getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night so i take off the mask and i find that I forget t...

Re: New CPAP user
If you have the heated hose you should be able to increase the hose air temp and the humidity and not have the condensation in the hose and mask unless you are sleeping in a really cold environment. Again even maximum humidity may not be enough but it's at least worth trying to see if it helps even...

Re: New CPAP user
Do you use a regular non heated hose or the ClimateLineAir heated hose with your AirSense machine? If a non heated hose you might add some sort of hose cozy to help insulate the hose to maybe help prevent the condensation. Or get the heated hose. If you are using the heated hose then what temperatu...

Re: New CPAP user
The last 2 nights have been terrible. waking up with really dry mouth (using the full face mask). i have it set to 4 humidity. 5 or higher tends to get water in the hose and mask...
I don't think the padacheek thing on the F10 is doing me any good either. seems to leak a lot more with it on.

Re: New CPAP user
I got a barrel cozy and pads to cover the rubber part that goes against my face for the Nuance Pro mask. I also got a cover for the F10 These items make the masks more comfortable but i think they are a bit expensive for what they are. I guess I do feel a little better in the mornings after using th...

Re: New CPAP user
I tried to use my nasal pillows last night but I couldn't get comfortable with them for some reason so I used the FF mask again. I think I'm finding the ff mask more comfortable (probably because of my mouth breathing). its funny because after my experience with a ff mask at the lab i was sure i did...

Re: New CPAP user
the f10 wasn't bad. more comfortable than I expected.
had a few leaks where I had to adjust the mask.
1 thing that sucks is that if you have an itch under the mask, you have to take the mask off, haha

Re: New CPAP user
I ended up getting the Resmed Airfit F10 without the forehead support thing. It felt the most comfortable of the 3 (instead of 4 like she said originally) she actually had there. I'll use that one tonight and see how that goes. My Nuance pro came with a small hose that connects to the mask but the A...

Re: New CPAP user
The therapist has 4 FF masks at their office. Fisher-Paykel Simplus Resmed Airfit F10 Resmed Airfit Quattro Amara View She said they keep their bestsellers in stock. I saw someone else mentioned in the F10 as a good one and in another forum I saw. I'm going to try them on at the office, hopefully th...

Re: New CPAP user
used it all night again. although last night i kept waking up because my mouth was dry. must have been breathing through my mouth. I also had my window open and I am wondering if that contributed to me breathing through my mouth ? Categorically...... More than likely. I seriously doubt it. Suggesti...

Re: New CPAP user
My AHI last night was .5 Doesn't get much better than that. How was the sleep quality in general? The possible issue when using EPR and that drop letting apnea events slip past the defenses is more evident when someone was already using maybe the bare minimum pressure needed to keep the airway open...

Re: New CPAP user
It's not bad that you increased the EPR to 2. Some people will find that the additional drop in exhale might allow an apnea event of some sort to happen and if that happens we can adjust the pressure upwards just a little and still keep whatever EPR lets you get to sleep. Doesn't happen to everyone...
