Re: What to do with second machine?
I just got my second machine. Another Airsence 10 just like my original except the modem and auto shut down now works on the new one. My old machine has 27K hours on it and I will keep it packed for travel so I don't have to disturb the new one. Stayed with 10 as my accessories will work with both a...

Re: Best night ever for Clear Airway Events!
Another good day. I know MyAir has very limited usefulness, but the AHI for me always matches Oscar.
7:25 usage hours 70
Good mask seal 20
0.5 events per hour 5
1 mask on/off 5
Total myAir score 100

Best night ever for Clear Airway Events!
Have been a hose head for 6 years and mostly get along fine with it. Masks and fitting are always a pain in the ass. I have always had 75% of my treated AHI composed of Clear Airway Events. Made numerous attempts to reduce but to no avail. Only sleeping less than 7 hours reduced them as most occur w...

Re: high CA ahi
Have lowered my CAs by limiting sleep to seven hours. I have very few clear airways in the first seven hours sleep. But after that, it really jumps up to a higher number. My AHI is always double or triple if I allow the luxury of 8 or9 hours of sleep. I t really doesn't matter for quality of sleep, ...

Re: trick topic for the experts
Thanks for your comments. New pic, 20 days after fall from tree! 20 days after incident, last couple days with little pain meds and sleep breathing is back to mostly normal! Surgery day was the worst night.

Re: trick topic for the experts
Pugsy, I turned lucky again in surgery yesterday. they put me out for it, not knowing what they would have to do. they just physically shifted everything into place and it stayed! did not get pins, but they were prepared to do so.

Re: trick topic for the experts
sorry experts for the game, but I am giddy (and drugged). I won the lottery Friday night and did not buy a ticket, just very lucky to be alive! fell off a ladder 14' while trimming a branch. did a face plant, except broke the fall with my wrists (both broke). ct scan on neck and brain, they say is a...

Re: Need some Sage advise!
Thanks much Pugsy. I kinda guessed that would be your answer. But I see so many screen shots here that talk about AHI of 1 and trying to do better, it makes me wonder about my 2 to 3 average. I also see many screen shots with no clear airway event at all, makes me wonder some more. Any guess what it...

Need some Sage advise!
CPAP has been good for me. Initially started (10 years too late) because of complaints of snoring, morning headaches, dry mouth and tiredness. 2016 Sleep study showed 57 events an hour and very low oxygen levels. The original prescription was for a straight 8 on pressure which of course I have playe...

Re: F30 - sizing, other questions
Coming from the F10 to F20, I started the New Year with a F30 medium. Used a medium in F10, tried a large in F20 and initially thought that would be the ticket to less mouth leaks. Not so. Also trying the memory foam large for F20 and although very comfortable, still many large leaks a night. But th...
