Re: Very large leak rates
OK folks, so I got a cervical collar and used it last night. I feel the same tiredness as usual this morning, my Philips software tells me I had a 0% "mask fit," and Oscar tells me I had -99% (yes, it is negative, whatever that means) large leaks. Do you guys think it could be my machine, which I've...

Re: Very large leak rates
Many of us here on the forum use a firm, foam cervical collar to keep our mouths closed. You can also try using a chin strap. I tried three or four of them, but could not find one I could stand to use. Thanks-- do you happen to know if this is a good and comfy cervical collar (or do you have anothe...

Re: Very large leak rates
By auto adjust I mean the pressure itself...not the exhale relief (C Flex) portion. The top line of 15. Your machine won't do it unless you happen to have some auto trial time remaining. Some of those System One machines had some limited trial in auto adjusting mode. The Pro model Respironics is es...

Re: Very large leak rates
Ooops...I just now realized you are showing a fixed pressure machine in your profile. That won't help me with my curiosity. Pressure is fixed and can't auto adjust so I don't know if the big leaks are impacting that part of things. No need to bother with the more detailed report. Here are graphs fr...

Re: Very large leak rates
Hello, I've been a CPAP user since 2015 but never looked at my data myself until the last few days. excuse what may be two dumb questions- 1. are these leaks waking you up or interfering with your sleep in any way? 2. are these leaks affecting your ahi? i mean to say, it looks HORRIBLE to see it on...

Very large leak rates
Hello, I've been a CPAP user since 2015 but never looked at my data myself until the last few days. I have a Philips System One and usually use a Fisher & Paykel Simplus full face mask. Looking at my data in both the Philips software and Oscar, I see that I have been having crazy large leaks all the...

Xanax for CPAP titration study
Hello, I was recently diagnosed with moderate to severe sleep apnea. I guess it took me a while to fall asleep during that first sleep study, so my doctor prescribed Xanax for me to take during my upcoming CPAP titration study. However, I see in the literature that it's not recommended to take Xanax...
