Thanks Don.
You need to lose your tone..
You've made some unwarranted assumptions. I will leave it at that.

Re: Adjusting
I am thinking of returning the machine. I was getting better sleep without it. I don't see how fiddling with the settings help. I cannot fall asleep with the pressure at it's lowest. I was advised to increase the pressure, but it is an APAP and will adjust to what the machine "thinks" I need. I do n...

Re: Adjusting
I don't know why, or what is happening. the longer I use the CPAP, the less I can tolerate it. Last night, I had to quit, removed the mask and went to sleep. I am exhausted. The fatigue I feel is worse than the fatigue I get with the apnea. My focus is gone, I can hardly work. Thankfully it's a desk...

Re: Adjusting
But after you took the pill and began to feel sleepy, why didn't you put your mask back on, knowing you'd be asleep in 10 mins with or without it? Don't expect rational behaviour from me when I am this tired. In my previous attempt to get used to a machine (15 years ago) I lost the ability to sleep...

Re: Adjusting
I don't know what to say or do. I am tired out of my skull. The night before last was terrible. Could not sleep with the mask. Took it off after a couple of hours. So I thought for sure I would drop off last night. But now. I tried and tried till 1 A.M. and finally ripped the mask off, took a 1/2 a ...

Re: Apnea Chronic or not?
Thanks for the responses. I was on a CPAP machine back in 2004-2005. I never did adjust properly to the machine so the doc gave me a repeat subscription to a sleeping pill (Imovane, 5 mg) which was effective for about a year, and then for reasons unknown to me, I lost the ability to sleep with the m...

Re: ResScan Software Download
Before I go to the trouble.. how does the software get the needed data? Do I have to remove the sim card from the machine and plug it into my computer? WHich would kind of suck, because I don't think I have a card reader that small.

Re: Early morning awakenings
Yep. I have that problem. But if I remove the mask, I can generally catch another hour or two. But not without getting a headache from apnea that will occur without the mask. So I try hard to leave it on. I am new to the game myself. I find adjusting to the mask very difficult. But I am slowly getti...

Apnea Chronic or not?
I get different opinions. I had always thought that by losing weight, or by doing neck muscle toning exercises one can possibly get rid of sleep apnea. Is that just a false hope or have people actually gotten rid of their apnea problem? Are there case studies published in the journals about this? Th...

Re: ResScan Software Download
Can I get instructions on how to find the resscan software? I am curious about all the secrecy here? Is the software a commercial software and we are passing out a pirated version? Several people have told me i need to get the software, but my goodness.. finding it is impossible.

Re: Adjusting
Thanks for your replies. So far my average sleep time with the mask is 4.5 hours. Last night I did almost 5. So that's progress. And it's the bladder that wakes me, I think. Then I cannot get back to sleep. So I go the last couple of hours without the mask. I will cut back on the fluids in the evg ...
