Coincidentally (perhaps?) I had been waiting for a sleep study and had a new one done in August and started using the CPAP machine about 3 weeks ago. I am having difficulties finding the correct mask for me tho and am very frustrated. But I will keep at it.....especially when you tell me that it can...

I have had sleep apnea for years and was untreated. This summer I started having palpitations and recently wore a holtor monitor. Results show rare PVC's with a brief episode of afib. I have been using a CPAP machine for about 3 weeks now. Starting air pressure is 7. Humidity set at 2. I have tried several masks. I am using the Fisher PayKel SensAwake machine with humidifier set to 5. The beginning air pressure is set to 6 and according to the records, does not go above 10 during the night. But how can that be accurate since I hardly ever get to sleep???
