Re: horrible air quality...need advice
Awesome, thank you so much. MarylandCPAPer, thank you so much for your kind gesture! I apologize people got a little disrespectful towards you for not getting my model number and whatnot. I will take a closer look. I thought the Remstar C-Plus was the model number. Like I say, I will take a closer l...

Re: horrible air quality...need advice
I'm glad the antibacterial filters I received by mistake have found a good home. Assuming you have a Phillips Respironics machine, I also can send you a spare new unopened water chamber, a pack of white filters, a gray filter, and a new non-heated hose that haven't been opened, from the last shipme...

Re: horrible air quality...need advice
NANWILSON, do you think I should bother trying to tape a coffee filter in front of my black sponge???? Do you think that would be beneficial?

Re: horrible air quality...need advice
I couldn't believe how much sand and dirt got into my mask. It was nasty. I truly appreciate all your guys' responses. Do you think the sand is getting in past the black sponge AND filter? That's so weird. I will crank my humidifier all the way. It was in the middle section for a while. I know, try...

Re: horrible air quality...need advice
Have you discussed the air quality with a pulmonologist/respirologist there - someone who knows the conditions, deals with other pts who have resp. problems and who might know some tricks? Lady, I don't meant to be disrespectful, but what kind of amenities do you think I have over here in a war zone?

horrible air quality...need advice
I'm deployed to the middle east, and using my CPAP has been impossible. I wake up sneezing horribly all throughout the day, and nose bleeds nonstop. I stopped using my CPAP machine and it went away. I thought maybe it was allergies. Used my CPAP for another night and same thing. Here is what I'm thi...
