Re: Recommend a Generator for CPAP / Fish Tank
Thanks for the ecoflow delta 2 recommendation, l like the auto switch over set up, so i will look into those. I'm still using a 55ah deep cycle marine battery and hardwired the dc adapter to an extension cable because the cigerette lighter connection wasnt stable. And of course a transformer on the ...

Re: Wake-sleep tansitional apnea issue
I was happy with autoset until i got older and the odd sleep transition problems got to be too much, even though I had the autoset figured out as best it could be. Wound up blindly experimenting with different types of machines and only the ASV worked with the backup breathing rate. Never had a lot ...

Re: Backup Battery
I use 2 55ah deep cycle marine batteries on a noco maintainer and use the 12v converter and disconnect the humidifier using the purchased side panel forbthe ASV 10. I have one converter hardwired with a long extension to ringclips to connect directly to the battery terminals because the cigarette co...

Re: Is it worth buying a backup machine?
I don't mind keeping the AGM batteries indoors with good ventilation. I have a long extension cord for the DC converter I hard wired if I want to keep the battery away from the bed. Care must be taken to make sure a cpap is functioning properly. For me, that means testing and comparing how I feel wi...

Re: Is it worth buying a backup machine?
I would be nervous without a backup machine, and probably have too many backup machines. The machines do fail from time to time for various reasons. Gotta have a back up. Back up masks, tubing, filters and batteries, are good, too. The two 55 Amp hour deep cycle marine batteries I keep on a Noco bat...

Re: Dry Mouth even with mouth tape
Struggling with the same issue tonight. The cheeks expand and the mouth dries out with the circulating air, no need for a tape leak. I'm going to try a different thumidity level, maybe auto setting for a higher humidity level, so it won't dry out as much. And get another cervical collar to help keep...

Re: Cleaning climate line tubing
The weird part was how the green goo bled to the surface without any obvious tear or hole in the fitting. That was I mentioned the slight deformation in the ridge. The tiny lateral hole in the white protruding housing must have been the entry point, if water was the cause. That may be a sensor and/o...

Re: Cleaning climate line tubing
Cleaned the climate line tubing today and noticed gooey green stuff on the outside of the end where the mask attaches. Cut it open and it turned out the metal piece located where the tab sticks out into the airway (with the tiny hole on one side) had corroded creating a pocket of green goo around th...

This repair company is in Ocala, FL and lists the anticipated repair costs as $275 for the motor, $375 for the main pca board and $475 for the blower and the main pca board. They don't specifically list aircurve models, though.

Re: ASV vs. ASV Auto? ResMed Aircurve 10
You may be able to adjust your PS to a lower number. May take some experimenting. The highest setting for PS was too much for me. My PS needs to be 10 or a little higher. Maybe post your settings.
