Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
Used it for 3 days with spot checks the first 2 nights and an all night reading the third, then switched back to the swift lt with overnight O2 measurements. I will have to measure again as just now resting with it on I am seeing good oxygen numbers, unlike before. The 2nd covid shot relapse may hav...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
I felt a bit of warm air backwash with bleep and my Oxygen levels were quite low as measured by a wrist oximeter, had to switch back to swift lt and oxygen levels went back to nirmal. I was a bit under the weather but not clogged or anything. I plan on widening some port holes on both sides until th...

Re: Battery
Yep ther dc converter is for 12v batteries. Converts 12v to 24v. Lithium iron phosphate batteries are expensive, at least the bioennno ones. And you can use the 12v battery to run your dual band mobile radio, handy talkies, and scanners! These battery boxes are neat, made for lithium iron phosphate ...

Re: White powder in my machine
Heck look for a vauto on craigslist and offerup.com, one popped up here in bradenton for 225, says new out of box, on offerup.com, always gotta check the hours though. Picked up an asv for 250 that's been going strong for the past 4,000 hours, keep the others as backups

Re: White powder in my machine
Aasrrrgghh the dreaded white powder! I never did figure out how to clean the sensors. I suspect the motor can handle the powder, but the sensors with those tiny holes, never could figure out how to clean them out....bad data means bad behaving asv and probably bad behavior for vauto. With 6,500 hour...

Re: Did you wake up "False-Refreshed" when you first started?
Any time I wake up feeling "refreshed" or wide awake without the groggy relaxed period I know something went wrong. Perhaps the "refreshed" wake up concept comes from repetitive commercials about beds and pillows and what not, and not from normal people. You know, brain washing, buy something you do...

Re: Buying a machine for future use?
Years ago my DME said my broken machine worked fine despite a code showing excessive impact or jolting, and my doctor told me he wouldn't give me another prescription so I could buy one online because he feared for some reason and said go talk to the DME. The knob on it was bent sideways. Can't trus...

Re: What is a Dreamstation BIPAP AVAPS?? Who needs one?
Yep a search for ivaps/avaps would help. Those machines aren't for central apneas, but i think they try to maintain tidal volume for people with respiratory deficiencies, such as persons with lou gherigs disease . I tried one once, it treats obstructive apnea and increases pressure slowly to keep up...

Re: ?Problems with DC12V adapter for Aircurve 10
With the cigarette adapter plug, I have to use a thick rubber band to hold the dc adapter in the cigarette socket, otherwise the adapter slowly slips out and loses the connection. Indont recall the problem being quite so intermittent though.

Re: Need advice on battery backup
Sams club sells a 55ah deep cycle agm battery for $120, I think. The battery tenders at Walmart seem to work okay...the Schumacher tenders 2 batteries and Deltran 1.25 amp battery tender plus seems okay and claims to maintain 12v and 6v and auto-detects agm and lifepo4 batteries. I keep a long 12 ft...
