Digestive Issues & Twitching

Hi all. I have been off my CPAP machine for about 4 months and have had the following issues: 1. Digestive issues including gas, abdomen pain, bloating, poor digestion, constipation etc. Doc has checked most things with the only thing left being a couple of scopes. 2. Jerking/twitching during my sle...

Back in the Saddle Anxiety/Temperature

Hi All, It's been several months since I have used my machine and I decided to give this thing another fair shot. I have used my machine for at least 6 hours the last 3 nights. A couple of questions/observations: 1. While not using the CPAP I noticed my generalized anxiety, obsessive thinking, rumin...

Mouth Leak

Hi all! I am really getting used to my P-10 nasal pillow mask. It's comfortable and I don't want to try a hybrid at this point. The full face mask was not something for me either. My issue is a small amount of mouth leak. I sleep soundly for a good 6-6.5 hours a night without waking up. At about 5AM...

6 Weeks In - Looking for stats help

Hello everyone, I am about 6 weeks in and wondering what it important to look at as far as statistics from my SD card. My machine last night showed the following on the screen: 8 hours of Usage Leak rate of 7L/Min 0.7 events per hour. 1 mask on/off These stats are very similar over a two week period...

Nasal pillows vs nasal mask for mouth leak

If this is a crazy question please forgive me but would there be any chance I may not leak air through my mouth at night if I tried a nasal mask rather than pillows? I wonder if anyone has any experience in one over the other for leaks.

Re: Frustrated Newbie

Thanks, no I am not congested. When I relax my lips separate and cause the leak. Its a very small leak but once I start leaking I wake up, fall back asleep and wake up again. The cycle continues until I give up. I need to get enough sleep to work so I only have so many hours I can fight through it.

Frustrated Newbie

Hi all. I started CPAP about a month ago with the nasal pillow type mask. At first at I was using the nasal pillows which were not comfortable and bothered my nose. I then switched to a full face mask the Air Fit F10. I found that leaked into my eye. I then went back to the nasal pillows which were ...

Re: Newbie Needing Direction

Have you looked at your data? what does it say you leak rate is at 3:30? If it's not much of a leak then maybe you are waking from something else and just hearing the slight leak and assuming that is what woke you. It might be or it might be something else. It could be that you are just not comfort...

Newbie Needing Direction

Hi All. I have been using my CPAP for about 3 weeks. I went from nasal pillows to full face and now back to the pillows. I am finding the pillows comfortable and leak through my nose is almost nil. Every night I am waking up around 3:30 to my mouth leaking ever so slightly. I get frustrated and take...

Re: Newbie Question About Low Pressure

I have downloaded the data. Can you tell me where to find the pressure setting that would take care of the majority of my events? Average pressure shows 5.78. Last night got as high as 10 for a short time.AHI was .31.

Thanks.
