Please help clarify
Hi everyone, A older lady I know ordered the Amara View. Not sure who her supplier is. This is a new style mask for her. She sent me a note asking about something in the "warning sheet" The sheet mentions not using the mask without H2O she said. My friend asked me if that meant she needs to use it w...

Re: Sleeyhead graphs disappeared
Hello, A few months ago I had a similar problem. It was solved by unplugging the CPAP machine and then plugging it back in. Like you I was mystified as to why this happened but a reboot of the machine took care of it with no further issues. Someone else on the forum had a similar problem and a reboo...

Re: Sleep study results, not sure if I need to pursue treatment
As far as meds I take my thyroid med and 100mg of tramadol a day for chronic pain. Hello, Sorry to hear you are struggling. I'm just gonna throw this out there. Have you considered that the tramadol is the culprit or at least a contributing factor? I say this because my daughter was on tramadol for...

Bravo to you Pugsy for speaking up! Thanks for all you do to keep this crew civil and help those who really need it at the same time. Hi to Mrs. Goodman! Thanks for giving us this place to learn about our CPAP therapy. Just reading the worthwhile threads of questions others have already asked helped...

Re: cpapfit pillow
It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it. At one point I set it aside and went back to my old pillow. Then tried again several days later. Most nights I use it but it takes time to get the right amount of filling. I bought mine from Amazon. There was an option to order extra foam. After I adde...

Re: Amara View Mask - darn DME!
Hi. About 3 weeks ago I started using the Amara View and love it! The first night I awoke about half way through feeling like the tip of my nose was being ripped off. Loosening the straps just a bit helped that and I fell back asleep with no more issues after that. A couple times I have adjusted the...

Re: Mask making teeth loose
Hi, I was having issues with the F10 full face mask. Leaks made me tighten it more which led to lower jaw pain. Finally I decided to order the Amara View from CPAP.com. I have had it about 3 weeks and am experiencing none of the leaks or the pain. There was free return insurance which made me feel b...

Re: Sleepy Head Data Missing
I came here looking for an answer to the exact same problem. It has been three days since I loaded my SD card into my computer. The last three nights only show summary data and no graphs. All of my other files are still intact. Thanks for the suggestion to unplug and reboot. I will try that.

The baby is not my own. I googled pics of sleeping babies until I found one that embodied the way that I hope to feel very soon when I wake in the morning. She makes me smile too!

Re: Loving my setup
Hi, Congrats on your good news and great attitude! I, too, have a deviated septum and am happy to have the air blowing in my face all night. I have noticed that I am a lot less stuffed up since beginning therapy and am hoping that leads to a lot less sinus issues (followed by bronchitis) this winter...

Re: What is the quietest cpap?
Hi Linda, The first thing I thought of when reading your post is that possibly this is a mask problem and not a machine problem. A few times when I was just starting out I would hear that Darth Vader noise and it bothered me. Then I realized that the problem was the mask. The elbow on the front of t...

Hi,
Welcome to the forum! I haven't been a CPAP user as long as you, but honestly have not felt the need for a device like this.
Best wishes, though!

Re: Sleep Apnea Mask Prototype Design SURVEY PLEASE TAKE! :)
Justin and Team, I took the survey. One question in particular, though, had responses that were too generalized to be meaningful. IMHO. The question was "Which is most important? Comfort. Performance. Or Cost?" Perhaps if you do any further sampling you would consider separating those factors into i...
