Unless you have a lot of centrals for whatever reason the ASV type of bilevel machines isn't likely to be needed. Otherwise you need bilevel due to higher (than what regular cpap/apap will go) pressure needs. Your doc has it in his head that he likes Respironics better...why he has that only he can...
