Erratic tidal volume and clustered events: Is this normal?
Hi there. I've been doing CPAP for moderate sleep apnea for a couple months, and for the most part, I think I feel better. I'm not as sleepy, for sure, and I've stopped nodding off in inappropriate situations. I still get days where I'll sleep for 12 or 14 hours though. I'm using a Resmed Autoset 10...

Thanks Pugsy.
This is what that first graph looks like when zooming in the way you suggested. (I hadn't realized the events tab would allow this -- thanks for the tip!)

Sleepyhead:Does this look normal? Clusters of centrals, etc.
I've been using the CPAP for a little more than a month now and seem to be doing pretty well. Most nights my AHI is around 1 or 2, and it's never been higher than about 4. I've even had a few nights with zero. All in all, I think CPAP's been a BIG success. That said, lately I've started noticing bri...

CPAP works, but Spontaneous Arousals/Poor Sleep Architecture
Hi! So, great news: My CPAP titration study was a success, and I'll be getting a machine in the very near future. My AHI went from 20.9 during the diagnostic down to .6, which seems like an unequivocal success to me. That said, there were a few odd things -- or at least things I could use some help ...

Re: Sleep apnea without apnea: Apparently, it's a thing?
Thanks, everyone. I feel much, much less befuddled about the whole situation now. And, wonderful news: After a night with CPAP (despite getting 4-5 hours of sleep at the most), I feel SO MUCH better! The sleep tech tried about half a dozen masks before we found one that worked around 2 in the mornin...

Sleep apnea without apnea: Apparently, it's a thing?
I'm new here and really impressed with the incredible depth of knowledge folks here seem to have. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on what's going on with my sleep. I have CPAP titration tonight and am kind of dreading it, and I'm not even sure why it's needed, haha. Apparently, you can get di...

Thanks kteague and Julie. I'll start a separate thread to avoid confusion. Sorry about that!

Re: Confused about sleep apnea
Hope it's okay if I piggyback here. I have a similarly weird and confusing situation (although I don't think I have narcolepsy) and don't really know how to proceed. I had PSG because my primary care doctor uses the data look for fragmented sleep in patients with Ehlers Danlos syndrome and signs of ...
